I have been to Pamika several times over the years and the food has always been excellent.. I noticed yesterday that they had a new menu .. most of the main dishes were the same, however I noticed a reduction in the appetizers.. I would like to see to add a couple of appetizers in the menu.. They have also added a new section with signature appetizers and the one with the scallop that I tried was outstanding.. Serving coffee would also be appreciated..

Loved this place! The food and drinks were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Definitely our new go-to Thai spot in Montreal!

We arrived around close to open time and the restaurant was empty. The waiter refused to give us a window seat saying they’re full for the night. However, only 1 of the 5+ window seat tables were taken at the time we FINISH AND LEAVE the restaurant. The whole place was more than 20% full for the duration of our entire stay. The fried rice we got was the most terrible one I’ve ever had in my life eating Thai food all over the world. Super damp rice, all crumbled together… funny story, I heard the manager (or a staff) talking to the kitchen saying they got a table of important guests and make sure the food is perfectly done before serving that table. Fine. I see you don’t care about serving other customers decent food. I usually don’t leave a bad comment even the food doesn’t meet my expectation. But this time… please consider going to a different restaurant unless you know you’re their important guest

Excellent service, excellent food. We had a wonderful time. The food is not Thai spicy/hot but I'm sure we could have asked for it if we knew. But staff were attentive, food was beautifully presented and tasted great. Very good experience. Would definitely do it again next time in Montréal.

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Pamika Thai! The food was full of flavour, and the service was exceptional.

We went to the wrong address at first and when we called they said they would hold the table for us even though we were an hour late. Incredible service and unbelievable Thai food, we had a lovely evening!

Unfortunantly it didnt quite scratch the itch we were hoping for but also wasnt too bad overall. In general I think they need two more servers to keep up with demand. The servers seemed busy but it took a while for every step of the way so I think they could use a bit more help. The other thing that was a bit unfortunant was the amount of fruit flies that were around. One or two isnt an issue but we were having to swipe away one pretty consistantly.

That being said, the food itself was pretty decent overall. Ill go over the so-so stuff first. We were trying to get the vegiterian papaya salad but apparently there is fish sauce in it that cant be removed so I am not sure why they label it as vegiterian optional. (Thats a bit of a pet peeve of mine since people probably dont even ask if it is labeled as vegiterian). The phad thai was decent with strechy noodles and fried tofu which is something we look for but the peanuts were all clumpped together as if they had been stored for a while. Not nessasarily a bad thing but califlour was also one of the vegtables which is an interesting choice.

On the good end, the bak egg roles were crisp and had good flavores especially when adding the sauce. They gave us the chicken one on accident at first but figured out their mistake before we had any. The drink was also very refreshing. The egg wash was smooth and sweet which complimented the tart and fruity drink.

The atmosphere itself was interesting. The long marbel X shaped table that centered the room was something I hadnt seen anywhere else. It seemed a bit akward at first but the lights and bar made it work more. The lamps seemed like a nice touch that added depth and a warm lighting to the room. I always like when lights are hung together at a different hights to give that depth.

Overall probably not one I would go back to.

Having travelled in Thailand, I am always weary of local restos claiming to have authentic Thai cuisine, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the respresentation of regional thai dishes at Pamika. Each dish was masterfully prepared with a variety of typical (and even not so typical) thai flavors. Spice level was well considered. Portions are not huge, but just enough to share amongst two people and be satisfied. My favorite was their scallop dish as well as their mango sticky rice dessert. I have found my new favorite Thai resto in Montreal!

My friend and I dined at Pamika Thai for dinner and decided to go with the Chef’s Choice, meaning we’d eat whatever was placed in front of us. At first, things went really well — the appetizers were tasty and the salads were amazing.

Unfortunately, once the restaurant got busy, we felt a bit ignored. The server barely came by, even though we were trying to get their attention. Our first appetizer arrived at 7:00, but we waited about 1 hour and 20 minutes before our entrées finally came out.

The entrées themselves were disappointing. The seafood curry had just 2 prawns and 4 mussels for two people, and the wagyu fried rice was so tough that we were chewing for minutes. For the wait and the hype, it simply wasn’t worth it.

The environment and atmosphere were great, but overall the food quality and service didn’t live up to expectations. I came in with high hopes, but sadly left underwhelmed.

The décor was beautiful, and the atmosphere had a great vibe.
My favorite dish was the Phra Ta Pow—flavorful and perfectly spicy. The Tilapia also is a much try. Crispy and tender.
The Tom Yum, however, arrived a little cold, so I’ll be sure to ask for it warmed up next time.
Other than that, everything was excellent. The service was outstanding, and the staff were all so welcoming. A special thanks to Ioan for the wonderful service!

Refused entry for our kids at this restaurant. No clear policy or alternatives offered. We left disappointed—call ahead to confirm their family policy.if you are looking for a good Thai restaurant with delicious food ,
Come to Dek Sen restaurant, 5 minutes drive. Definitely worth the drive.

Did not like the way they refused us from entering the restaurant by simply seeing we have kids. Food is the least matters with such an attitude.

Terrible experience. I came with my 3 kids and was refused a table simply because I had children with me. This is unacceptable and discriminatory. Families deserve to be treated with respect, and no restaurant should turn people away like this. I will never come back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who values fair treatment.

Fantastic food. Loved the concept.
Decor is brilliant service brilliant as well.

They still charge tips on total bill which is disobeying quebec law. And they did not have air conditioner which made it tough to sit enjoy food.
