Stay away from this tourist trap. Tell me why I paid $24 for a McCain frozen pizza 😭 the pizza at the top of the photo was supposed to be their “margherita”. Service was fine but watching her dip the dirty rag onto our table to “wipe it” once she noticed it was dirty was funny, and the place seemed cute, but do better, Paradiso.

Very lovely restaurant. I recommend eating outside; it adds to the ambiance. It's right beside the Old Montreal square with live music and the streets bustling with people. Best at sunset as there's a lovely view. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first time in Montreal and our first meal here too. It's a great little place, friendly staff and yummy food. After a long day of travelling, the delicious Caesar salad and pizza really hit the spot. It's right in the busiest intersection of Old Montreal and has great vibes and people watching.

This was an amazing restaurant! The service was great and the bolognese was fantastic. The prices were very reasonable and it was in a very convenient location. We did not have to wait very long at all for our meals. 10/10 experience, I will pay this spot a visit next time I am in Montreal!

July 25th, 2025 - No idea why this place has bad ratings because we absolutely loved it. Food was spectacular; the chicken alfredo was rich and creamy, and the lasagna was chef kiss! All staff were all so welcoming, kind, and accommodating to our needs. They had a high chair for our baby and he had a blast too! I see a lot of people complain about the price - Yes it’s a little pricey but what else do you expect going to a restaurant in a very populated tourist area like Maison Vandelac? Absolute amazing vibes and good people all around, will be coming back again for sure.

I don't even know where to start... Never have i seen such unmotivated waitresses. And then speaking of the food it was really no pleasure to eat. The Pizza was really just a frozen pizza baked and the Spagetti carbonara had no taste at all. Lucky for me there was pepper so it had some taste. The food really was disappointing. I really think anyone could do a better job than that restaurant. Otherwise i think any restaurant in Montreal would be better than this one. And for the prices the food just gets worse. I have eaten at better places for less money. Well i learned my lesson and will never come back as never anybody should.

JULY 2025-Lunch time - Tasty food- reasonable price- reasonable portion- good service - possibility of eating on the terrace or inside in the vast air-conditioned room with a view on the legendary Place Cartier. Inside, the tables are well spaced from each other. One small grey comment: there was no way to dry your hands after leaving the bathroom but that might be just a coincidence, a bad timing.
