Food looks really good on the photos. Too bad I will never taste it because the girl that answered the phone is extremely rude and disrespectful. You may have the best concept but it only takes one bad apple to sink the entire ship.

Had the best time on the terrace this summer! The pasta was unreal, felt like fine dining but with that cozy, local vibe. Great wine list too. Definitely a spot I’d go back to :)

The pasta was amazing! The service was great, and they had some great wine recommendations. However, the terrace was filled with bees. I guess it’s the time of year.

Not bad, but not great. I can see the appeal in the concept, but feels like it felt victim to it's hype. Had big expectations as a lot of people said it's the best pasta they've eaten, but in my opinion there's much better spots for pasta in the area and in Montreal in general. Prices are also kinda crazy for what you get.

I feel it’s overpriced for what you get. Spent a little over $40 for an average ragout pasta with a side of green beans.
Disappointing experience from the food to the service. At 6 P.M. there was a “short” wait time of 45 minutes and the employee said they are always full as of 5:05 P.M. We opted to take-out and only 2 out of the 3 pastas were available for take-out. The pastas are their only main dishes so the options were scarce. Portions are average for the 23-25$ price tag and the food is average at best. There are plenty of great alternative (authentic!) italian spots around. Not worth the line up.

Unfortunately the waitress is very rude and off putting. She rolled her eyes when I asked to change from takeout to dine in as a family had finished eating and my order was just placed. It costs nothing to be kind or polite to customers and this reaction was of such poor taste. There are many other Italian places in the neighbourhood where the service is kind, friendly and welcoming — which this place is not.
Do yourself a favour and go to Etna Pastifico, Pizza Balagan, Luciano Trattorio or Pizza Bouquet instead.
Good food only goes so far when the service makes you feel like you're being looked down on. No customer should be treated as if they're beneath the staff.

I’ve been looking forward to trying this restaurant and I was sincerely disappoint. Ordered to go because we weren’t told of the outdoor terrace. It seems they forgot about out order since the the people who ordered to go after us received their food first. When asked they rushed to make our food and it was sub par. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Very expensive to eat in the park

i love this place so much. i go here once a week for the ravioli. it touches my soul. small spot. food is served quickly. pasta tastes better than so many other places, no disrespect to the big dawgs. its fresh everyday, perfectly balanced flavours, extremely addicting. i always hear people complain about the price. they usually have not tried the ravioli. a poulet rouge bowl costs about the same as the ravioli (22$) and any other restaurant in the city with this quality of pasta is charging 30$-38$ a plate.

Pasta Pooks is a small gem in Montreal serving fresh-made pasta. The dishes were well executed — al dente and full of flavor. Service was great and very attentive. We were eating outside and had a lot of wasps hovering around our food, but the staff quickly moved us inside and made sure we were comfortable. A great experience overall.

Im very disappointed by this place. First, the place is very small and loud so I suggest you the take out. The service is very slow, we wait almost 30min for our take out outside and they forgot our order and didn’t mentioned it at all. The pricing is very very high and I would have expected a bit more quality for the service. Concerning the food, it was ok, the tiramisu and the bred antipasti was very good but the Ravioli and Bolognese was missing of flavors. And again, when you see the pricing it’s pretty high for what is it especially when the portions are that small. Doesn’t really worth the hype, I won’t go back.

Great ravioli with spinach!
I would suggest a bit less salt.
And lower the music. Seems too loud for the size of the place.
Other than those 2 things, it’s a great place!!
We drove from Toronto and will come back just for this pasta!!
