Best place for Pate Kode. I came to Montreal last minute for a concert craving Haitian patties and Google suggested this place. The lady at the counter was so nice. The Pate Kode were to die for. I will visit every time I come to Montreal!
Great little haitian patty spot, which has various vegetarian options. Unfortunately they don't have a vegan option because they use an egg wash on their dough. I grabbed the vegetarian patty which comes filled with spinach, carrots and one other veggie that I can't remember. You can add extras ingredients so I got a boiled egg, and pikliz (spicy cabbage). I visited this restaurant about a month ago with my wife, and we absolutely loved it! The quality of the food is amazing and the pâté itself is huge! My wife took a bacon cheese combination while I did ground beef and vegetables! Jean-Philippe was very kind and we talked for a bit! The paintings in the restaurant are by a local artist, and are absolutely stunning! The fresco cart was so fun as well! Overall, a wonderful experience! Will be coming back very soon!
