Growing up with Pendeli’s all my childhood in Laval where it used to be awesome in the 70’s and 80’s, I have expected to have the same experience here. After trying food here many times I have concluded this is not a good place to eat.
Pizza used to be awesome loaded with lots of toppings, especially pepperoni, plenty of sauce and cheese coverage and a heavy Montreal classic pizza. Today it’s lots of bread, low sauce and cheese coverage, limited and cheap on toppings and therefore unpleasant to eat and expensive for what you get.
They used to have fantastic subs. These days there is more bread than quality ingredients especially the meats and also the cheese, but even the cheap lettuce is low. It’s just it what it used to be or should be. Tell you what Pendeli’s, charge a little more but make a good quality product like you used to do. Big let down.
Bottom line. I will never return again. This is more a dump than a legend as it used to be the standard for foods in this category. So sorry.

Only thing stands out is the food. Seems to be aiming on take outs and deliveries. CASH ONLY. Pizza and submarine I tried were really good. Lots of toppings, they don't hold back on the ingredients, loaded with thick cheese, steak'n mushroom sub was loaded with lots of meat. Good food to bring home and enjoy.

I ordered their pepperoni pizza to go. I was very disappointed, I really don't get how this place is so popular around here.
Crust is very doughy, and bland. Definitely lacks salt. The whole pizza actually needs salt, which is very surprising considering the ton of cheese and pepperoni on it.
The cheese is also absolutely tasteless, there's a alot of it, sure, but it doesn't have any flavor. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't even real cheese and something like analog cheese instead.
Same with the pep, tons of it, barely any flavor. There's also very little tomato sauce
It's filling, that's about it.

Went back for the first time in ages. Was sad to see they changed the recipe. Used to be a monster pizza. Sad to see them fall victim to post covid shrinkflation. The dough had no bubbles, sauce tasted generic. lack of cheese. at least pepperoni was still cut length wise. won’t be returning.
took 2 hours to deliver a takeout food came cold fries soggy, last time I will ever order from this place. I live 10 minutes away

Just wasn't very good pizza. Wasn't terrible either. But in this economy it's not worth it to go to restaurants with just okay food... You're better off getting a frozen pizza from the store.

Awful experience. They messed up my order, and when I politely pointed it out, they were rude and tried to blame me. Every time they spoke to me they constantly said “Hey, lady” in a condescending tone, as if I was stupid. I felt completely disrespected. They also claimed their card machine was broken and demanded cash, then refused to give a receipt. I later saw other reviews mentioning the same thing. I won’t be back.

They have a good pizza i give you that. But the customer service is horrible! When i called to order i was having a hard time finding their menu. So i ask what flavors of pizza they have and she said to me you dont know what you wanna order? And she said call back when you know and she hang up on me. Rude and worst service never going back again.
