We went to the one on St-Laurent for lunch. We had this one little woman server who pushed items on the menu. The more expensive dumplings which was the lamb coriander dumplings. I don't like to feel pressured on ordering food. The chicken dumpling soup broth was a disappointment. You eat all the dumplings and the broth is tasteless. I told the server no coriander in my husband soup since he doesn't like it, yet it had some in it. I found that the lamb coriander dumpling had barely coriander in them. My husband ate them like crazy probably because they're wasnt any in them? The service was ok before the bill. Usually the server gives you the bill no? I got up to pay my bill wondering when or where is she going to give it? She never did. There I was standing at the cash register and I see the amount of 95.00$ for 4 people. I stood there wondering ok? Waiting not knowing to what to do next. Then our server at the cash she says..THIS ISN'T WITH TIP!!! (In others means, pay me a tip now!!) There I was standing next to my daughter looking awkward because the server is demanding a tip!! This is very unprofessional as a server to demand a tip. It's not an obligated thing. BEWARE OF THIS!!! I was maybe going to come back to this place but I'd rather go somewhere else to get better service and good food!!
Pretty good, I would go back!
Funny story, but I have found this place during a breakup getaway. Became my comfort place where I had the lamb coriander dumpling over 10 times in a two week period lol. Their wonton soup is also exceptionally comforting.
The location has its own quirk which really makes it memorable. Taken a few locals there since who’ve been just as amazed as me when I first went there.
The soup dumplings are just okay, I disagree with all reviewers mentioning how authentic they are. The dumpling skin is too thick and there isn't much soup inside. At least the atmosphere inside is nice.
Delicious dumplings - pork and cilantro
Incredibly bad service - the two kids working here couldn’t remember any of our requests, and we stood up a total of 4 times to ask for every item we needed on repeat. It used to be decent, but today was terrible. Can’t recommend.
If you are in Montreal and looking for authentic dumplings, this is a good place to have them dumpling were freshly steamed and tasted really nice. The best part was rename and dumpling were steamed fresh . They don’t give sriracha or any sauce - this is authentic so only soy sauce
Very cozy vibes, love the interior! The dumplings were reallyyy good! Very fresh & flavourful❣️
What a charming, warm and delicious dumpling place! Excellent service, authentic and delicious food, beautiful restaurant.
This place kicks you out if you don’t tip, beware!!! I ordered food at the counter and as a broke college student I cant really afford to tip, and this rude server gave me a bag at the table and I told him I asked for here and he said “you cant eat here if you don’t tip”. I ordered at the counter, so I had no idea I “had to tip”. Never coming back again!

Favorite dumpling place in mtl !!
Home made absolutely fabulous dumpling.
Stopped here by luck but will definetly come back.
After talking to a waiter, I felt I had a responsibility to publish this content. In order to make a profit, this restaurant only arranged one waiter to work every day. In order to control the waiter's salary, the boss took 40% of their tips and refused to pay them all wages after 22:30 every night. What's more terrible is that the owner of this restaurant has been doing this for a long time and does not think it is illegal. According to Section 50 of the Quebec Labor Law, this restaurant is a disaster for Canada. CNESST must give a fair judgment to the employees here.
Cool small dumpling place, very good food!
Charging $2.00 for chili oil at a dumpling joint should be a crime.
