Pho Anh Vu is located in the heart of downtown Montreal across of the AMC, it’s the perfect spot to experience the authentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine. This new restaurant opened 6 months ago offers delicious dishes and Pho soupes that hits the spot during those upcoming cold days. It is a very beautiful place nicely decorated and clean that is inviting.

BEST BUN BO HUE AND DEFINITELY WORTH MY MONEY(18$)! I have ate over dozen of bun bo hue in different restaurants, and this one is guaranteed n1 . They were generous with the meat and had better quality topping then other restaurants. I recommend 100% to come here. + the service was fast

I personally think the bun bo hue is the best in MTL, it tastes very similar to the one I had in the 13th arrondissement of Paris:) Thumbs up ??

Absolutely amazing this MANGO SALAD ! Can't wait for the next dish. BRAVO for the2nd dish and very attentive waiters. Definitely we come back. Side garlic and chili peppers were a lovely surprise. Nice place, modern decorations, wonderful cherry tree.
Expired and smelly pork (not caused by the fish sauce) dripping, I can't even finish my dish it makes me want to vomit. My friend ordered Pho soup, no taste she had to add lots of hoisin sauce. We said the waitresses and being ignored. Really an insta restaurant to take photos not to eat well.

We just discovered Pho Anh Vu, a newly opened Vietnamese restaurant that's raising the bar in Montreal. What immediately stands out is its exceptional cleanliness - it's by far the cleanest Vietnamese restaurant I've ever visited, right down to their spotless washroom. The entrance feels more like an upscale coffee shop, with warm and welcoming decor that draws you in.
Their rib pho is absolutely outstanding. As someone who's had this dish in Toronto, I'm thrilled it's finally available in Montreal. The portion is surprisingly generous - we had to share! Two large ribs come with meat so tender you can effortlessly spoon it off the bone. They serve an additional bowl of soup with a bone with plenty of tender tendons. What really sets them apart is their broth - you can tell it's genuine by its rich, deep color. Unlike many places that rely heavily on MSG (leaving you thirsty afterward), this is clearly a real, well-made consommé.
The mango salad with grilled shrimp was equally impressive - fresh and perfectly complementing the pho. A special mention goes to their homemade spice sauce condiments - they offer four different varieties ranging from pure garlic to chili dips. The spiciest one caught me by surprise, but it was so delicious I couldn't resist adding more!
From now on, this will be my go-to spot for Vietnamese pho in Montreal, and I'll be enthusiastically recommending it to visitors. It's refreshing to find such an authentic, high-quality Vietnamese restaurant that pays attention to every detail.

The moment I walked in, I was impressed by the beautiful decoration. It sets the perfect atmosphere for a comforting bowl of pho.
And speaking of comfort, the beef pho did not disappoint—tasty, flavorful, and just what I needed
Every bite was rich and satisfying, making it worth savoring
While it was a bit on the pricier side, it’s downtown Montreal, so that’s to be expected
For anyone looking for a well-crafted bowl of pho and a cozy ambiance, Pho Anh Vu is definitely worth a visit

The pho is ok, not bad, but not the best I’ve had. For the pork and chicken rice dish, the pork was overdone, very very dry but the chicken was delicious and juicy and well seasoned.

An unforgettable and pleasant experience!
A menu with a large selection of authentic Vietnamese dishes to enjoy. The portions are very generous, however the portions of chicken wings, sticky rice and mango salad can +++ I would like to see Pho Anh Vu's version of Bun Rieu on the menu. The interior decor is splendid, comfortable and clean. The service is fast, attentive and appreciated, which deserves great recognition. Congratulations @the Pho Anh Vu team! Continue to encourage our young Asian entrepreneurs!
With pleasure, Missy A.

This is a nice place, don't get me wrong, it's good. Now my feedback will be very specific on the Pho where I was a bit disappointed. Been recommended this Pho chain from Toronto, well the bowl look nice. But, I felt something was off at the first sip of the beef broth. It didn't feels like an authentic Vietnamese beef broth. Now after checking I understand the chain is created by Chinese, which explain why it's not and authentic Vietnamese Pho recipe. Let's they are trying to be but they're not. It's still nice for regular though, don't get me wrong. So for me the Pho is 3*, but only me ;)
