Delicious! I ordered takeout for lunch Pho (rare beef). The lady at the checkout was very polite and helpful! I passed around 12:20 pm on this day. She gave me a glass, surprise dessert! Very good! Glad to find a decent Vietnamese restaurant downtown.My pho with rare beef was served with cooked beef. I wonder if there was a lack of synchronization between front and back of house. If it sits too long in the pass, the the thinly sliced beef cooks.The service was ok , but definitely needs work. As a lone diner, I do not need 2 waiters watching me eat, whether they were looking at me or behind me, they needed to be more discreet. And where were they when I was trying to get my bill to pay and leave?I am of average height, the booth side of the table is too high so one has to bend a little too much over to eat. The other diners around me were in the same predicament.The spa-like covers of popular songs was a bit loud with only 6 people in the restaurant and also set a weird atmosphere: is it a spa or a vibrant new restaurant?Also, English-speaking staff only? That’s why I’m writing my review in English to make sure my review is understood.With these small adjustments, things should pick up.
