It’s obvious that the lovely owners are away I always enjoy the Sabich Benedict two poached eggs sitting on two thick fried eggplant. On my last previous visit no fried eggplant so to make sure i asked my waitress Elle. To double check. She comes back from the kitchen confirming my question regarding the fried eggplant would be present Well. No round large pieces off fried eggplant under my eggs. But 3 tiny little crumbs of what appeared to be eggplant. So disappointed. When i asked Elle my waitress why she answered oh well they changed the recipe. Wasn’t my question clear enough i guess not The last annoying point was the 4 staff members sitting right next to me at the bar probably waiting for customers quiet loud for 10h30 am watching a soccer game like they were in their living room at home

I had a deeply upsetting experience when I went to pick up my order. When I asked if the order under the name ‘Sia’ was mine, the staff member rudely demanded that I show her the Uber app with the name on it . I showed her the order I had placed, but she dismissively said, ‘I don’t see the name.’ When I asked where can I find that since I don’t see it, but only my order. she curtly replied, ‘I don’t work for Uber,’ with an arrogant tone. Shocked and confused by her attitude, I reiterated that it was my order. She then slightly raised her voice and snapped, ‘Just take it! Just take it!’
Her behavior was not only unprofessional but also demeaning, as she seemed to assume I was an Uber driver and treated me as if she was superior. This level of arrogance and disrespect is absolutely unacceptable, and I left the establishment fuming. I sincerely hope the management addresses this issue to ensure such despicable treatment is never repeated.”

Definitely a little disappointed, 4th time going to this location, try to visit every time I come from Toronto. Last week was not the same tasty dishes that I always get and now definitely expect from pigeon…I’m just sad tbh 😭 I wanted great food. I enjoyed the dish served overall but my partner was served a hard-cooked poached egg. The service did not want to return his plate because it is a new cooking technique. He had it extra with the Mediterranean toast.
I was with a friend in this cafe, the staff did not pay attention to us, no one came up to us for 15 minutes and gave us a menu, we had to look for the menu ourselves, when we asked if there was tartar on the menu, the waiters just left and did not answer, although the people next to us were served quickly, it was daytime and there were few visitors, the waiters were talking to each other at the bar counter, but they did not have time to come up and take our order. Terrible service, it was very unpleasant, although the food and drinks were delicious.

The service here was so awful. He was so rude, never checked in on us. We ordered an Iced Matcha Latte and got a glass of milk instead. On top of that, he doesn’t know the difference between nondairy milk and lactose free milk and he gave attitude about it. Also, do not order their Chocolatine, it was terrible. Expensive for nothing!

The food here is always so good. I come here specifically for the halloumi and labneh shakshuka, it’s soooo good. But the service is pretty inconsistent. Expect a wait even after you’ve been seated.

I didn't recognize the same service as before. My filter coffee really wasn't fresh or good. To place my order, it was so noisy that I couldn't make myself understood and what's more, I had the 'opposite of what I asked for. No sauce on the plate. They didn't bring me any sauce, it was the busboy who went to get it because the waiter never came back. People were banged on my table because I was unwell placed.To pay I waited a very long time at the cash register which annoyed the bartenders who acted as if I was invisible and blamed me for asking for the bill when they didn't know where I was sitting? I won't go back there again.

Wow wow wow! My boyfriend and I came here for a drink and small bite on my birthday and sat at the bar. Our bartender, Elle, was so sweet and funny. Lily, one of the general managers, was amazing. She gave us a ton of recommendations for places to visit while we're in town too. The drinks were incredible especially the espresso cocktails!! We got the pigs in a blanket...highly recommend. Definitely stop here if you're in the area!
