coffee was good, but the staff was so not welcoming that it felt like I'm almost intruding their chill hang behind the counter, very grumpy and unfriendly

New coffee lover here but trained for years. I stayed in MTL for 2 months and tried many café. I almost always get Flat White to test the coffee without too much milk.
Vibe: Best coffee in town from what I tried. Love to work here, the windows are clean and the charger is next to me since I sat closer to the toilet seat. Not sure window seat would have chargers. Although wifi needs to reconnect every hour but not too much trouble.
Coffee: Best flat white in MTL for now before I go try more espresso bars. Super smooth, nothing goes a single wrong.
Service: The staffs are cool and chatty to each other a lot though.

Well... The coffee was off a bit but so was the place down the street. Maybe it's the water in the area.... Still a reasonable price for a Canadiano.

Amazing donuts, I quite enjoy the Ethiopian americanos. The complementary newsmagazine is such a charm. Magical.

Unfortunately, although my iced matcha was yummy, they served it in a cup only made for hot drinks, which proceeded to literally melt away within minutes due to condensation. I had to drink very quickly so it didn't fall apart (it was a very humid day - the cup was squishing in my hand). Ink from the label leaked onto my hands.
I know it's typical/traditional to order a matcha hot, but I think to serve iced drinks, they should provide suitable cups. It's understandable if they ran out, but nobody let me know before I received my drink (I would've ordered something else.)
Overall, the matcha & service were pretty good, but this ruined my experience.

I ordered an ice latte with vanilla. Definitely no vanilla and the latte seemed to be a iced americano or a a very crappy iced latte was very disappointed

Used to be one of my favourite cafés. A few months ago not only was I insulted by a staff member, but I posted a Google review about it and got publicly trolled by the manager.

Solid matcha latte, but croissant was quite lackluster. Had it been warm or less hard, I feel like I would’ve enjoyed it more. Came here when I was wondering around Montreal looking for caffeine/food that was open before 10AM. Wouldn’t be my first choice for coffee + pastries but gets the job done in a pinch.

There is nothing special about this coffee shop. We drove there specially and were a little disappointed. The paper cups they used were also of poor quality and became too soft to hold after a while.
