My experience at this restaurant was absolutely unpleasant and unacceptable. The owner tried to serve store-bought dough that had visible mould on one side and was discoloured on the other side, yet acted as if nothing was wrong. When we pointed it out, instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the issue, he argued with us and refused to issue a full refund. We had to insist multiple times just to get our money back, considering we never even accepted or ate the pizza.
This shows a complete lack of hygiene, professionalism, and respect for customers. The fact that they were willing to serve mouldy food is alarming and raises serious concerns about their kitchen cleanliness and overall food safety practices.
On top of that, they charged $68.38 for two 14-inch pizzas, which is ridiculous. We have never paid this much for two 14-inch pizzas. We later went to another pizza place and paid nearly half the amount ($42) for the same size and toppings.
Avoid this place at all costs. Serving mouldy food is completely unacceptable and poses a serious health risk.

If I could give less than a one star to Pizza Momo in Montreal, I absolutely would. My experience there was absolutely disgusting, the owner tried making a pizza from scratch and the dough had visible mould on it and still tried to serve it as if nothing was wrong. When I pointed it out to the owner, instead of apologizing or offering to make things right, he argued with me and refused to give me a full refund. This is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of hygiene and customer respect. The fact that they were even willing to serve mouldy food is shocking and raises serious concerns about their kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards. I strongly warn anyone considering eating here — do not go to this place unless you want to risk getting food poisoning. Health inspectors NEED TO TAKE THIS RESTAURANT DOWN. He’s a scammer, liar, and a cheat. After arguing with him to give my money back, he gave me only a portion of it back instead of giving my full refund talking about how the rest already got paid to the government. WHAT NONSENSE! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. They should be SHUT DOWN immediately and who knows what other shenanigans he’s running at his restaurant.

Absolutely disgusting experience at Pizza Momo in Montreal. I have never seen such a lack of hygiene or professionalism in any restaurant. The pizza dough had visible mould on it, and the owner still tried to serve it as if everything was fine. When I confronted him about it, instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, he got defensive and refused to give me a full refund. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable and shows zero respect for customers or basic food safety. The fact that mouldy dough was even in the kitchen says everything you need to know about how this place is run. To make things worse, the owner tried to justify not refunding me by saying part of my payment “went to the government”, which makes absolutely no sense. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you care about your health, avoid Pizza Momo at all costs. The health department seriously needs to inspect this place before someone gets food poisoning.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant was far from what the reviews suggested. The pizza lacked flavor, and to make matters worse, the guy preparing it had long dirty nails and wasn't wearing gloves raising serious hygiene concerns.
The kitchen and overall cleanliness of the restaurant left much to be desired, yet we still gave it a chance, hoping for a good halal pizza. Sadly, it didn’t meet even basic expectations.
If you're looking for a halal pizza option in Montreal, I’d recommend trying Domino’s veggie pizza or exploring other local spots there are definitely better and cleaner options out there.
