Easily best pizza in Montreal , not a fan of the fact that you have to lineup outside in cold or heat just because they don't take reservations

We looked for a pizza place on our last night in Montreal this trip and this one had amazing reviews and didn’t disappoint. We ate outside and even though rain was imminent had a great time. Delicious salad and really good pizzas. Best we had in Montreal.

words wouldn’t do justice but a visit to their place if you love pizza like vrai pizza, go there - sit - eat and you will surely repeat.

I WISH I COULD SAY ITS WORTH IT BUT IS JUST A TOUCH TOO EXPENSIVE. unfortunately. Good pizza but I don’t think it should cost more than like $12. Back when I was a kid pizza was just something that appeared. And now we have to pay for it how terrible’ bring back the days when pizza would show up

It was nice dinner today, waitress are so kind, really good pizza, they give us the option of share pizzas with my mom and is a lot of options !!

Don't do what we did. We spent 10 minutes on guessing hahah We struggled but it was fun to guess. We were pleased with our order.

This was our second time dining at Pizza Il Focolaio - lunch and dinner. The place was packed both times we visited, with a line out the door. Despite the crowd, I thought the service remained top-notch. Our guy was super friendly - funny we got served twice by the same one. The pizzas are the star of the show at the restaurant, with a seemingly endless variety of topping combinations to choose from. On our first visit, I went all in with the “Said,” which came loaded with toppings. While it was flavorful, I found it a bit overwhelming. This time, I opted for a simpler pepperoni and sausage combo — and it was perfect. Sometimes, less really is more. If you're a pizza lover looking for quality, varieties and a lively atmosphere, Pizza Il Focolaio is absolutely worth the wait.

The pizzas are delicious, and the service is friendly and fast. The atmosphere is a bit old and noisy, but the food make up for it.

Update: I came back on April for my birthday. Wow the staff was amazing. Even the restaurant was already closed, they still treated me with respect and kindness. They even gave me some birthday dessert. I had to come back again with some friends. And they LOVED the place, especially the pizza hahaha. Thank you for an amazing experience. See you next time I’m in Montreal.

Excellent first experience last night. Pizzas were delicious as was the Italian Salad. The woman who took the order was very polite and efficient as was the delivery driver. Will definitely order again.
