Went with a local friend and were spoiled for choice with food options and their own beer too. Had a salad, burger and the sauerkraut with sausages (or was it the other way round?!); all very Germanic and tasty, actually reminded us of the Fatherland. The menu went large on how all the food ingredients were really local, yet there wasn’t a single Canadian wine on the list, but ones from as far afield as France and Argentina. The waitress said, yes a lot of people mention that .... We were downstairs in a cosy booth in the huge hall. All the serving staff were running around non-stop. Great place.

Vacation, on our last day of 4, needed a quick bite. Found this place a couple blocks from our hotel. An amazing serving of poutine, topped with phillysteak!! Best I've ever had. Highly recommend!!

We stopped in for a quick lunch while shopping downtown. It was warm enough to sit outside, which was lovely. The service was great and the food was delicious. We tried the flamm. Apparently a German style of pizza on a cracker style crust. It was light and yummmy!

The food was just okay. The service was terrible. It was slow and the restaurant was freezing cold. Our server was nowhere to be found

This place is fantastic and deserves 5 stars for sure. the beer was very good and one of fhe few true microbreweries in downtown montreal. the food was even better. I had the candied bacon burger which was fabulous and with a side of ‘pontine’ which was heavenly creation- fries smothered in brown gravy with fresh white cheese curds. OMG. Our waiter was Jeremie and he was clearly very experienced and professional and was quick, knowledgeable with great guidance and perfect service.

Dropped in for a quick lunch and a beer. Very interesting decor. Our waiter was quick, efficient and friendly. The berry summer salad was light but filling. Great Caesar salad. The thin crust pizza was very tasty and was enough to split. The blonde ale was icy cold and very good as was the amber ale. Enjoyable stop.

We love the flammekuche and the microbrews here, (especially the amber) but the best thing about the whole visit was our server, Sondra. She went above and beyond in several little ways to make our anniversary dinner great!

A restaurant where you can drink craft beer, watch TV a try Canadian putine. The food is OK but the beer worth to be tried . Bottom line it is a place where you cannot bored especially when is a hockey match.

Never heard of this chain, not being local but was introduced by an American friend. Good service. Nice ambience and vibe. Easy to watch the sports. We ate about 1700 on a Monday evening and definately beat the crowds. Despite how busy it was with the queue to get in being at least 20 deep I didn't feel pressurized into getting the bill. Well done to all. Would happily eat there again.

We went there for New Year's Eve. We tried two meals PORK SHANK and STEAK & FRITES. The foods were not hot at all and my meal was so bad, so I decided to exchange it with Poutine.

We tried Poutine which is classic comfort food being chips with gravy & BBQ sauce. We added pulled pork and had the crispier upgraded chips which were much better than the usual Quebecan version. Enjoyed a decent couple of beers too. Service was very friendly and excellent too !

Was in the mood for fish'n' chips. Should have asked before ordering about the batter. A 50-minute wait before food was served. Opted for salad instead of fries. Extra $1 for dressing. Extra filet for $2. Fish was GREASY and tasteless, thick crust. Had to ask for lemon as no tartar was provided. Drank 2 cups of coffee while waiting. Coffee: $5.90, dressing $1.25 extra, Fish 2 pieces $21.00 , plus 18% tip. Not a memorable experience. If you're in a hurry, forger it, especially at noon time.

We ate here twice. Great atmosphere, excellent service, the food was above average and exceeded our expectations.

We came here to watch the Stanley cup final. The manager very kindly changed the screens to allow us to do so. Unfortunately, they played music instead and it was like being at a club. Not really a bar/restaurant atmosphere. Overall the waitress was extremely helpful and the food was ok. However, we were watching the game and we’re rushed through our evening. We were given our bill and last orders called, even though the game was still going on and we didn’t ask for our bill. We got told it was last orders on food and drinks, but saw countless new orders and drinks being served while we were paying up. Overall not a great experience due to being rushed.
