Batiste without P is disappointed but Baptiste with P had a blast (joke aside in the photos lol)! A wonderful discovery in my friend's neighborhood. The pizzas are perfect. Fine paste, delicate, fragrant. Wow!?We took the French and the Pecora! The cheese is good quality! And the extra thin and crispy dough Among the top of the best pizzas in Montreal. Definitely worth discovering. And you will be well received when you arrive!A delight without moderation! ??

Considering the incredible pizza options in the neighbourhood (Moccione, Maps, Osteria Gallo to name a few), I find this place mediocre and slightly overpriced. I feel its owners wish to cater to an overly gentrified Griffintown-type crowd. We were 3 who dined and each ordered a pizza. No one was completely full with a single pizza. There’s a limit to how thin a pizza must be and how limited toppings must be on it. This is only an opinion and I encourage all customers (including Alea’s owners) to try all pizza options in the neighbourhood to objectively compare.

This restaurant is perfection. You can really see (and taste!) the passion that goes into every aspect of making the experience amazing. The food was incredible, we had lentil soup, the trout tartare, split the Espagnol pizza and finished with their lemon cake for dessert. Love the open concept kitchen. Bravo!
