Pizzeria Geppetto Notre-Dame

We had a nice time overall, the service was good, the food was great, the prices were standard for our more expensive current time. Having an active baby there was tricky though, as we were sat near the busy kitchen and staircase to the basement which kept distracting and attracting our kid, and using the annoying high chair blocked access to our both and made everything awkward as it stuck out into the staff's corridor. They could have used one more staff member to greet at the strange entrance with a sink and random things placed there, but the staff who were there did a great job covering for this otherwise.

Kid-friendliness: There are dangerous stairs to the washroom near the busy kitchen, and the place can get crowded, but there are large bench booths and some space for the kids to move. The high chairs are annoying to adjust and using one makes getting in and out of booth seats difficult.

Very nice culinary discovery. We were looking for good pizzas to enjoy with my friend and we were definitely not disappointed. So much so that we also had takeaway. The service was just perfect! We will come back without any hesitation!

Un merci tout particulier à Patrick pour son accueil et l’excellent service. We had a beautiful experience at Geppetto on December 26 - it ended very well my son and his family’s visit to Montreal. The pizza were amazingly good and so, was the linguini carbonara. The staff was kind and professional. We enjoyed everything and we’ll be back for sure!

We ordered two pastas, and some salads and cocktails. Overall service was great however food was rather lacking. Pastas are weighed down by heavy cream and lack much taste and texture. We saw some other people order pizzas which unfortunately looked very flat and not fluffy or soft. Our cocktails were basic but acceptable. Applaud the friendly service however food does not stand out at all.

The mild temperature helped, but even without that, the service was discreet and courteous, the food delicious without overdoing it, the wine a perfect pairing with the pasta and arugula salad. I've been waiting to go there for four years, and the experience lived up to and even exceeded my expectations. THE chic, quiet and affordable restaurant on Notre-Dame Street.

My partner and I went here for dinner tonight and I got to say it was an amazing experience. I got the gluten free margarita pizza and it was amazing. The dough is made fresh and the sauce is beautifully flavored. Our waitress was on top of it. She was great at her job. The creme brulee was also gluten free so it was a nice way to end the meal.
