I have frequented this restaurant a few times and have enjoyed their revised menue. However, I have now witnessed on multiple occasions, the owner being EXTREMELY inappropriate with his staff (especially the younger women). Constantly touching them and pulling them aside, very upsetting behaviour to see in such a highly reviewed restaurant.

We ate the burger and it was very good. The price is reasonable considering the location in old Montreal. 1 star less because I ordered a dessert and after 20 minutes it was still not served. The service was fast but as soon as the restaurant was occupied at 50% capacity the wait became much longer. Too many people for 2 servers.

One of the very few places still to be discovered in an over touristic Old port. Although this restaurant still has a lot of wrinkles to iron out, the atmosphere more than makes up for the annoying downfalls that still exist in the daily management of the place. We had drinks and the burger platter which was frankly very good. The parasol terrace was very pleasant with great views over the waterfront area. For now, I'll share a photo taken from our seat at the table, as well as a small video taken from the roof top right above the restaurant. Tip: at first, it is difficult to know how to get to the restaurant. When coming into the museum, immediately turn left and left again to the elevator. Notwithstanding a few services irritabilities, enjoy this still undiscovered gem, you will not regret the experience.

Nous sommes 3 professionnels, 2 bouteilles de vin, entrées, plats principaux, bref une table du midi payante ! Au départ, pas de carte des vins qui serait supposément en construction (alors que ce nouvel opérateur a rouvert le resto depuis quelques mois) et, dans le rouge, que 2 vins, de la piquette. On commande le plus cher à 45$ et la serveuse qui ne dit pas un seul mot de français a du mal à l’ouvrir. En fait , lorsqu’elle nous verse le vin, il touche au papier d’aluminium du goulot et elle s’en aperçoit même pas ! Bon, c’est de la piquette alors on n’en fait pas un cas ! Lorsqu’on commande la deuxième bouteille, nous apprenons qu’il n’y en a plus et sommes donc obligés de prendre l’autre, unique vin rouge sur la carte « en construction », un sangiovese à 38 $ la bouteille dans un resto… on se comprend ! Nous prenons tous une gaspacho, une soupe froide, et ça prendra quand même 30 minutes pour la recevoir ! Au moins, en attendant notre soupe, on boit de la piquette que nous devons nous servir nous-mêmes puisque personne ne s’occupe de nous ! On nous sert enfin la gaspacho, mais nous n’avons pas de cuillère ! Après la soupe, nous attendrons un autre 20 minutes pour la pièce du boucher que nous avons choisi tous les trois, 34 $, mais oups, on apprend qu’il n’en reste que 2 ! Les 2 contre-filets arrivent, d’une minceur exemplaire, style un quart de pouce, ni plus ni moins, une galette de steak ! Les serveurs n’ont même pas remarqué que nous n’avons aucuns ustensiles et devons donc leur en demander ! Évidemment, pendant tout ce temps, nous nous servons nous-mêmes le vin, aucun service à ce sujet ! Bref, un resto à éviter à des prix comparables aux restaurants qui offrent une excellente table, tels que Le Muscadin (prix moins cher parce que le prix du midi comprend une entrée, le plat principal, le dessert, le café, nappe blanche, service impeccable, portions généreuses), Helena, Graziella, le Monarque et j’en passe…le prix des grands (quand même plus de 271$ avant le pourboire pour un lunch du midi avec 2 bouteilles totalisant uniquement 83$) mais une bouffe sinon mauvaise, à tout le moins médiocre, aucun service, des jeunes qui ne savent pas trop quoi faire, absent ou incapable de gérer leur salle sans même parler de la serveuse qui ne dit pas un seul mot en français. Nous ne leur prédisons malheureusement pas un grand avenir à moins d’un changement drastique ! Pour le moment, à éviter absolument ! C’est dommage parce que l’endroit est bien agréable. Nous avons donné une étoile pour pouvoir accéder à ce site pour écrire notre commentaire mais en fait, c’est zéro étoile! Vraiment dommage de ne pas adéquatement valoriser un si beau site ! Vivement un nouvel opérateur !
