Poissonnerie Jean Talon is a seafood spot at the market. The fried calamari is a favorite, well seasoned and not oily, priced around $22 Canadian. Fish and chips, calamari, and fried smelts are also available, and everything is fresh and cooked just right. The lobster is tasty, but prices vary between weekdays and weekends. Oysters are okay and worth the price. Salmon and tuna are very good. The market stall is very clean, with top quality products and good service. The staff is polite and always smiling. Seating near the stall is limited, but it's a solid spot for seafood.
