I feel the quality has declined since the past years. Recently purchased a piece of tuna for tartare, the texture was very stringy and mushy. Also requested that the worker cut into pieces and she refused stating that they only do this for advance calls, which normally, I can understand however in this moment the store was not busy at all so I don’t see how it could not have been done as many poisonneries do this.
Oyster selection is usually solid and fresh. There is a young gentleman who really knows his stuff and checks oysters before selling. Others, I have had sell me some oysters that are not fresh/alive. Overall, good choice.
Impeccable service as entering the shop. Picked bluefin tuna and king salmon for home made sushi and sashimi, it was literally butter, top grade sushi normally in restaurants. Definitely recommend, will GO BACK
