Porto Poulet cooks excellent spicy Portuguese chicken. We travel 10km to pick him up where we meet family and friends to eat there. The owners are welcoming, the service is pleasant, sincere and takes place in a family atmosphere. Whether it’s the spicy chicken or the mixed meat platters, it’s so good that we have a hard time stopping. As Homer from The Simpsons would say: “Marge, Get my extra loose pants! » ;-)
Excellent. Real Portuguese tasty food. Being Portuguese, I am a huge critic of our food, and this place passes the test. The service and the host, John, knows how to wow the costumers! First time, and certainly not the last!
What a warm welcome!
Very small restaurant (25 or 30 seats?) where they serve Portuguese-style chicken (delicious) and choriço (which is not fatty, unlike what we often see), sandwiches, as well as a few other dishes. Flans, Portuguese tartlets, and tiramisu (homemade, from what I understand) add a touch of sweetness if you're still hungry.
If you can get a beer for around ten dollars, the wine costs $16 a glass, which is exaggerated.
