The food is pretty good and fish fresh. The setup of the restaurant is in long bar tables and it is sort of tricky to chat with the party if you are sitting with more than 2 persons. I ordered one drink (cocktail) and took 1 hour and 20 min to be served (not exaggerating). I think that the kitchen and bar should get some training on how to improve the efficiency in serving :)

Lucky find when walking down the road.

The ramen here is really good , rich broth, tender meat and the sides were tasty too. The staff were super nice and friendly. Overall, a great experience. I’ll definitely come back!

I had the Hakata ramen and it was wonderful. The broth was incredibly rich, each spoonful was a delight. The noodles had a springiness to them that made them really stand out from the other ramens I've had. I also took the 3 sides: the tempura shrimp was surprisingly done perfectly, instead of the overcooked rubbery stuff you get in cheaper places, the fried chicken was crispy yet juicy, but disappointingly small. The takoyaki was nothing to write home about, but the overall experience was fantastic. I suggest getting a larger portion of ramen and skipping the sides though, ramen was A+.

Amazing hidden gem. First time here. Coming back for sure!

A Friday evening, calm, a bit Japanese atmosphere and the super boooon soup.
Take medium...it's enough.

This was the worst food experience I’ve ever had! Yesterday I ordered a delivery via Doordash, the order came incomplete (I was refunded for that missing item so all good) but when I opened the boxes I found literally 8 pieces of slimy “fried” Edamame, covered in huge amount of salt and (!!!) cooked noodles - it looked like someone grabbed it from the floor! The shrimps tempura were just 3 tiny pieces of breadcrumbs, cold & slimy! How’s that even possible ??all that for 40$!!!! I called the restaurant and was told by some Joshua that I will be reimbursed, today I got a message from Doordash that it was declined…I literally threw that garbage food out and if it was in a restaurant I would call a food inspection on that one!! Don’t go there!!!

This spot was a real letdown. We had to wait almost 2 hours just to be seated, and once we got in, the service was disappointing from start to finish. The servers seemed uninterested, rarely checking in on tables, and their attitude was dismissive at best. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like water refills, and they didn’t bother apologizing for the long wait. The whole atmosphere was off, with music that didn’t match the vibe, and the lighting was more irritating than cozy.

The food was average—not worth the high price or the hassle of enduring that wait and the poor service. I was expecting a warm, inviting experience, but instead, it felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. There are definitely better japanese places in town with better attitudes and quicker service. Skip this place if you’re looking for a pleasant dining experience.

Probably one of the best ramen I tasted. Super rich and flavorful broth! Side dishes did not disappoint. Superb service and wait time. Will definitely go back again.?

Used to have very good Poke bowls for cheap. Now they've reduced the quantities and risen the price and the quality isn't as it used to be. Won't be eating or ordering from here again.

Friend took me out for dinner here and it was one of my best food experience in montreal. Specially the Takoyaki was so good and had a crunchy skin with soft chewy texture. I ordered regular salmon and tuna sushi. You can tell the fish used is fresh but the quality of the rice was top tier for me. It was flavorful and chewy. Tried a bit of poke bowl from my friend and I honestly wish I ordered poke bowl instead of sushi. The portion was huge and came with a side of miso soup and fruits.
Atmosphere wise I feel the place was bit congested and we had hard time going to our seats. They have table for twos on the front section which is much easier to access. But we were three people so it was a bit tough. I was happy with the service and of course the rustic japanese interior ?

Very welcoming, nice atmosphere, amazing staff, awesome food - best salmon poke bowl I’ve had. If you visit Montreal make sure to stop at this place for great food. We also got miso soup on the house. Prices totally okay.
