We visited Poutine Ville on a Sunday evening this March, hoping to enjoy the "build-your-own-poutine" options, but ended up ordering from the menu instead. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing—the fries were likely frozen, as they were hot on the outside but cold on the inside. The dish was also quite dry and lacked flavor, so we couldn't even finish it. The service left much to be desired as well. Despite speaking both French and English, the server seemed confused and struggled to understand my simple modifications, which made the experience frustrating. Additionally, the restaurant's focus on Uber Eats orders created another issue—over the course of our visit, around 15 delivery drivers came in, letting in cold air every time the door opened, leaving us shivering. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experience, and I really wish I had spent my money elsewhere.

Fries not super cooked.... sticky cheese. The person who provides the service is not able to say thank you after giving the tip and a big lack of taste for the first and last poutine here. It's better to come to a restaurant in the street 😅 and at the end the liqueurs in the fountain.... 80% of the green of the ice.... put the liqueurs in and finish quickly. But the service is fast, that's good

Vegetarian options: Yes veg option but the fries weren't very good

I ordered on Uber.. I asked to make sure that the fries were covered in gravy because the previous order had been almost dry. I got my order and saw that again the fries were almost bare. Like what the hell? I’m super annoyed. I don’t think I’ll order anymore. Poutineville used to be a favourite for poutine but my last 2 orders have been terrible. After paying $20 for my poutine, I expect some quality.

No Sauce almost no Fries $30 for 2 poutines a real JOKE plus not having a Pretty Disappointing Taste! Pay Full Price and the Next Day it's 2 for 1 Thank you Poutineville!

I often come to get poutine to take away. Today, error in the order, it's not serious, I pay, I still leave 15% tip. While they are preparing the order I see that I was entitled to a free hamburger. When my order is brought to me I ask for my free hamburger and I am told: “you had to ask for it first”.
It's honestly not for a free hamburger that I'm disappointed, it's for the lack of attention and consideration for a regular customer who always leaves a tip.
When ordering, they could have told me, “You get a free burger.”
But then you shouldn’t be surprised that you don’t want to come anymore…

What an incredibly LAUGHABLE amount of cheese curds they put on their "poutine." Just call it fries and gravy with six tiny bits of cheese curd and be honest. Ridiculous.

I had a large classic mushroom poutine, very generous, it was delicious. Very nice waitress. I would just change the mushrooms which weren't very grilled though.

Some people say this place is a hit or miss and they are right. Sometimes they get the order just right but the fries are undercooked. Other times it tastes f'n great but they put in the wrong item eg: side sauce instead of cheese curds, or one or more item is missing. When picking up the order it already comes in the bag stapled so unless you open it and check if everything is there, you might be in for a surprise. I would recommend dining-in instead.

The Cheese burger poutine was particularly bad. Almost no sauce, no cheese, fries not well cooked, etc. It was fine for classic poutine.

I usually just order delivery or takeout, so I can’t speak for the dine-in experience or the staff. That said, I’m pretty disappointed with what I got this time. I know this place can be hit or miss, but come on—this is what we’re paying for? Definitely not okay.

The concept of the restaurant is simple: you choose a poutine from the menu or you have one custom built to your specifications. THE
Service was a little long, not the fault of the young, kind and pretty waitress. There was a group and the guide of this group spoke really too loudly and was rude. The TV was on football, it helps you wait. The poutine sauce was too salty for my taste. Parking is on the street and paid. It would have been nice to have more on my plate.

Ordered 2 poutines and 2 Mac&Cheese Bite on Uber Eats. They forgot the 2nd serving of Mac&Cheese Bite. So basically I paid $19.99 to get just one. Contacted Uber a dozen times, refund of $5.99…. $19.99 + tax divided by 2, that's $5.99 by far. Impossible to get a refund for the missing dish.

So I paid for a dish that I didn’t receive. Please be more diligent when reading your orders.
