Been in Montreal 3 years and this is the worst poutine I’ve had. Expensive and inedible.
Very tasty food

I went here with my boyfriend and our food was ready super fast. The fries were hot and crispy, a great option for poutine!

I got the regular poutine: not enough cheese, cheese was cold, fries badly fried (not crispy). I found the sauce too salty with a weird after taste, but I can see how some people may like it. Toilet was disgusting. At least the hotdog was ok and it wasn't crowded.

One of us were served the wrong order. Manager refused to fix problem, but didn't tell us. After 30 minutes, we asked what was happening. They blamed the waitress. She was moved to tears. Obvious management issues that affected our experience.

We came here as part of a Montreal food tour. The poutine we received was tasty (we had a classic with smoked meat on top).
I have no complaints but of course we didn’t have to wait long to be served as it was all prearranged. That said - our experience based on the poutine alone was good!

I ordered Mexican to go, but when get home found a curly lon hair in it, meanwhile I have short straight hair. I am sad I didn’t take a recipe this time.

Solid poutine. I, admittedly, don't love poutine overall, but I felt like I *had* to at least give it a shot while I was in Canada. I came across Poutineville while I was on a Montreal food tour, and it was certainly tasty, but not quite my favorite. The fries were a little bit soggier than I was expecting, and it does feel a bit plain without the meat (for folks who are vegetarian). However, the cheese curds are a fun addition, and I appreciate the level of customization that Poutineville offers, since you can even build your own version of the classic Canadian dish. The staff was remarkably friendly; they had a bit of a hard time keeping track of all our dietary restrictions / modifications, but we also came in with a large group (~15 people), so I fully understand that that's a challenge. The store feels very sports / dive bar-esque, which is quite fun and seems like a great place to hang out into the wee hours of the morning.

Why would you put sauce on the top of a sandwich?

A regular poutine with tip cost $23. It was like a bunch of pizza toppings fell into a soggy poutine. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place with all the incredible options in Montreal.
