The employee was very rude, one lady asked the price and threw the sticker on the table in front of her. She raised her voice, saying, “The price is written here.

Bread much worse than my usual baker in Jarry. I would like to be constructive with this opinion, so I invite the owners to improve their recipe and compare it with what is done in the neighborhood.

The Première Moisson bakery is known for its breads but also for its homemade sandwiches and soups.
A beautiful indoor dining room, far from the noise of the Jean-Talon Market, is very pleasant!
A must-see at Montreal's most popular market!

There were a lot of flies inside the building 🤢🤮but the service was pretty nice so I will not put 1 star ⭐️ and there were to much eggs in the pie 🥧 it wasn’t good at all

Not sure you want to have this old French fanatic man as a server in your store who is extremely rude to English speaking customers.
The first few times, he acted like he did not understand me. He understood but he did it on purpose. (I buy my bread and pastries there every week and all the other employees are very nice.)
Today I went to get my pastries and I tried my best with my poor French. He understood me but ask me to repeat rudely because he didn’t like my poor pronunciation as if he needs to fix me.
And suddenly a French speaking lady interrupted my order. He lifted his finger in front of me like you would do to your young children to make them stop speaking. VERY RUDE. I felt like I was rejected because I was begging for free food or something. Afterwards, he tossed me to another employee.
He is not meant to be in service with such attitude. Especially not in the store where a lot of tourists come by.
One can encourage someone to speak French but not like this. What he does is just insulting customers in one of the most touristic areas in Montreal. What a great impression of Montreal he leaves to people!!

If you're ever at the Jean Talon Market in Montreal, you have to check out Première Moisson! This charming bakery and pastry shop has an amazing variety of goodies, from artisanal breads and sandwiches to delicious deli meats and a tempting selection of sweet and savory pastries. I couldn’t resist grabbing a yummy blueberry danish and the best cappuccino ever—so good! I ended up buying one of everything because it all looked too delicious to pass up.

Every bite was delightful, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier! They even offered to let me try their best-selling bread and pastries. If you’re craving authentic French bread and pastries, this is definitely the place to be!
