This is a dive bar in the best possible way. Shabby but inviting, decent drinks, a friendly bartender, and always an eclectic group of people hanging around.
I docked them a star because the music is just way too loud. I know thats the trend now but this is the kind of place that would benefit from a volume level where you could actuallt settle in with a drink and an old friend and have a deep conversation without having to shout at each other.

The bartenders are some of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with, it’s got great prices, and the atmosphere’s just great altogether. After a long day of walking around the city, it’s nice to pop in for a cold pint. It’s cash only, but there’s an ATM right there for you to use, so it’s really not a big deal. I fully get why this place is so beloved.
