I go every other month for a meeting with scientists and the pub has a cozy little back room set aside for the scientists. I have never actually had any food at the pub but their drinks are pretty good!
We pleasantly surprised to find this place on St-Denis. We were there around 4 pm. Our first bartender was very friendly and so eager to serve us however; the night shift bartender wasn’t very friendly and she never made eye contact.
The drinks were delicious and the food was typical bar food. Nothing to rave about but did the trick. I recommend the cheese and charcuterie platter and avoid the nachos, not worth the price.
Excellent choice of gin and whisky. The service was OK, but the food is not the establishment's strong point. After 10 p.m. the place gets very noisy. I'm not sure I'm the typical clientele, which seems more suited to people in their thirties and over after a show or the cinema next to the establishment.
