Magical place with the icing on the cake, the perched pink house
A beautiful Irish pub-style space that boasts the best beers in the city! These days they only open for private events.

Rented this venue you for a private birthday party. Could not recommend more highly. The venue is great and the staff were responsive, helpful, and a blast the night of the event. A plus service. Thanks billy!

We went there for the work Christmas party. The food was catered. The drinks were covered by our managers so I did not order anything at my expense. The overall atmosphere was great. I recommend booking the place for a private event.

I wish I had discovered the Annexe back when I lived in the area. Billy is a true gentleman, took excellent care of us during our office Christmas party. It was catered so we didn't try their menu, looking forward to going

Love this spot in Montreal. Perfect always..
It was a great experience until I went to find the exit and one of the guys from the staff after I asked where the exit was he replied “your French is horrible”. That's not very nice. It really affected me and I hope that you will evaluate the situation carefully because I think that it is an unacceptable language... Never in my life have I heard a person say that the way I speak is is "horrible"...
I won't go back.

Cozy place. Went for a private meeting. The place is beautiful. You can see part of the brewery from the windows, and it is next to the park and the canal. The bartenders were very nice. There's parking on the street and the next building in front of the terrasse.

The evening started okay, we walked 30 mins with two kids (3 years old and 16 months old) to experience this brewery/restaurant. The wait staff was nice when we arrived . Unfortunately, it did not end well. Our 3 year old has an egg allergy. When we asked if the pizza had eggs, the response was ‘no’. She proceeded to eat a cheese pizza with her little brother and 10 mins into our 30 min walk home she started throwing up. This is how she reacts to egg exposure. Please be sure you’re confirming to your customers the ingredients. And if you aren’t sure just say it does have eggs.

I booked the l’annexe for a private event and cannot express how pleased and happy I was with the customer service. Billy (the GM) and his friendly staff truly went above and beyond and surpassed my expectations. We catered our own food and a full-service bar with st. Ambroise delicious brews were on taps. Though this was back in September, my family and friends still talk about how great everything was and about the superb customer service. Will definitely be booking with them again in the future :).
After a long day of work, it's perfect for 2-3 beers with friends. I love the St Ambroise Annex.
I can't wait for the end of April....the terrace will open!!!!
If you like St-Ambroise beer and decent pub grub, it's a perfectly good watering hole. Personally, the layout and lighting don't work for my taste. I much prefer the large outdoor terrace the St-Ambroise brewery provides around the corner, looking out over the Lachine Canal. That's a great place to be come summer. But if you crave their beer over the winter months, L'Annexe is a decent compromise
I was introduced to this location by some of my work colleagues a few years ago. Several aspects make it special - Right next to the Lachine canal; easy to take a stroll before or after you imbibing sceance :) - Right next to the old brewery (which is a historical landmark), there's event a quaint cottage right at the top - Good selection of beers on tap, and affordable to boot - ample parking and seating area - decent service - not as busy/overcrowded as the terraces downtown - wide expanse for those who wish to lie on the grass.....or smoke My only criticisms (minor ones) are the cleanliness of the area (which could be improved); also the fact that a few folks were not wearing masks moving around. Highly recommend nonetheless
Place is spacious and good one to hangout in summer, with a good view. There’s only beer & wine available on the menu though.. cocktails / gin is in the takeout menu and I don’t think you can drink that inside.. food was below average- we took salsa with nachos, literally it was unseasoned and not tasty & we couldn’t eat it.. I’d prefer an other place next time
