We sat at the bar. Food and drinks were outstanding. Antony, the bartender, was friendly and had great recommendations.
We had a lovely family dinner on the beautiful Pubjelly patio. There was something on the menu for everyone's preferences. The overall experience and ambience was tres bien!
We had a nice evening at Pub Jelly overall. The food was mostly excellent—the beef tartare was absolutely delicious, and the octopus was also perfectly cooked and very tasty. Unfortunately, the potatoes were a bit of a letdown as they were overcooked, which surprised us since a friend had them before and remembered them being much better.
We also tried one of the pizzas, and sadly, it really missed the mark. The one with sour cream just didn’t work for us flavor-wise—I wouldn’t recommend it.
As for the service, while the staff was friendly and respectful, the experience felt a bit slow. We waited a long time before being able to order and before receiving our drinks, and we had to remind them about the octopus, which had been forgotten. It may have just been a busy night, but the delays stood out.
That said, the highlights on the menu made the visit worthwhile, and we’d consider coming back to try a few different things.

We had the raw oysters, salmon tartare, cauliflower tempura & prosciutto pizza. The oysters were amazing and the salmon & cauliflower were absolutely memorably delicious!!! Service was good, not spectacular. Busy with volume but very fun vibe and extraordinarily tasty!
the atmosphere, food and especially the service were perfect! Chau was a star!

I am a big fan of the restaurant which i have rated 5 stars. However, we did not have the same experience at pub jelly. The pub itself is really nice, the service was good. After the first round, the server did ask us how everything was tasting to which we said most of the dishes were good but the tuna tataki was disappointing and lacked flavor. I felt for the 4 of us that spent over $400, a complimentary dessert or simply to not charge for the tuna tataki would have been a really nice and classy move on servers part. Unfortunately, that was not the case. As for the food while some dishes like the baked oysters were good, cauliflower tempura was delicious, we felt most of the others were average. At the price point, we were expecting a bit more from the dishes. There was also quite a long wait after the first and second round of food. Overall, a nice time but i can't say it was worth the high price point.

Great table service with regular checks but not excessive. The cauliflower tempura was nutty and perfectly roasted. Very pleasant and not heavy at all. The scallop dish had the most marvelous finger/plate licking sauce; however, the scallops themselves were very small and a tad overcooked (chewy): makes more an expensive plate with main protein on the disappointing side. Octopus dish was rubbery and seriously lacked flavour.
All in all, I would go back for the cauliflower and the ambiance...a pleasant neighbourhood spot.

Excellent place in the Old Port, with delicious food and a lively atmosphere.
Food: we ordered 4 sharable dishes, each of them were well seasoned and flavors were Bomb. The Burrata was our favorite. Seafood was fresh desserts were scrumptuous.
The Dragon Kiss cocktail and the Brassin Bio beers were also top notch.
Service: Our server was super attentive and efficient. Food was served quickly and water was already refilled. Excellent.
Atmosphere: The terasse was beautiful, on a warm day. Lively place, need reservations.
Overall would go again A+++

My girlfriend and I had a great night at Pubjelly. Our waitress, Marie Suzann, really made the experience she put together a custom 3 course, 5 plate meal for us, and every dish was on point. The seafood was especially good. The oysters were fresh and priced really reasonably. What I love about this place is that you can go all out and have a full dinner and it feels worth the money, or you can just pop in for some wine and pizza and still have a great time without spending a lot. Super flexible, depending on your mood. The vibe inside is really solid too, great ambience, not too loud, just the right mix of laid back and polished. Definitely planning to come back soon.
The food was excellent, and the service was top notch. This was the best food we had in Montreal/Quebec. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing meal.
