Qwelli - L'art du gelato

This is a popular gelato chain in Montreal with branches in many malls, including this one in Galeries d'Anjou. The are many nice flavours of ice cream but the place is understaffed. The other side is a café and only two people are working here. So sometimes, both are busy in the café section abd you may need to wait for over 10 minutes just to order your ice cream.

Bien que j'aie téléchargé le programme de fidélité et que Qwelli sur Instagram ait confirmé qu'il suffisait de présenter la carte pour un petit gelato gratuit le jour de mon anniversaire, on m'a quand même facturé. J'avais même ma pièce d'identité. Je trouve regrettable cette obstination et le manque de satisfaction client. Lorsque j'ai demandé où laisser une évaluation, l'employé m'a simplement répondu : "Si c'est pour une plainte, ne laissez pas d'avis sur Google, on va perdre des étoiles." Incroyable.

Wow amazing ice cream 🍦

Pros: tasty, good variety of flavors, nice service.
Cons: expensive and very annoying small cups that makes a mess everywhere when it starts to melt and mixes the flavors together so it's hard to taste them individually.

Bought a pastry from here and there was a hair on it, so I asked for a new one but I watched the employee take the hair off of the food and put the pastry back in display for the next customer. Haven’t eaten here before, and will not again.

I would like to ask the owner that you will lose all anglophones, because your employees ignoring you if you can’t speak French. Please give them training properly how to put the hard ice cream on corn.. it was almost every where and it is falling right away..

I’ve been here many times but this time is the worst. Tables are extremely dirty and service bad, no smile or welcoming and super slow. Even though it’s not that busy at that time. 4 persons working but couldn’t help out just for paying. I don’t mind waiting 2 minutes but not 10 minutes. Not qualified for a rush hour.

I'm really sorry, one of the waitresses gave us a very bad welcome. At 6:00 a.m. they didn't want to serve us, even for a child who was crying and who wanted a crepponet in a rude manner

It's expensive. The gelato is good and they don't skimp on the portion.

First time trying Qwelli and I'd rate it as just about average. Quick to get your gelato but prices are pretty steep. Flavours are okay but nothing out of the ordinary. Finally, and the biggest reason for the low score is that the tables around are dirty. Old cups and napkins were left behind, stains from previous gelatos and nobody to pass by and clean the tables or provide at least a rag to wipe them down...spoils the experience as it makes you want to stand or walk and eat rather than sit

My wife was craving ice cream, so we decided to stop by this place. It's a little bitpricey but it tasted good. Wife loved it .
