I went there last year and forgot to review at the time. I went by myself as a little treat to myself as I had had a nasty day the day before and all my friends had said it was just great. It was! The staff were super friendly. I waited outside for 10-15 min or so and felt guilty for taking up a single seat at a 2 person table but the staff never made me feel that way and the food was AMAZING. Good prices, very cool decor. loved it ❤️

I went a few times at Régine café and tried a few of their plates and drinks. Everything is excellent, well garnish and we'll presented. The beverages, coffee, chat or fruit cocktail, are very good.
Yesterday the waiters made some mistakes (some things where brought too late, or forgotten). So they didn't count one beverage and gave us a coupon each, which was nice. Normally the service is very good. There is often a lot of people. It's best to go early or make a reservation. The ambiance is nice, a little kitch, a little crowded too. Certainly a place to try at least once.

We finally get to see what the hype is all about, and we’ll be back to taste a few more items from the menu.
Everything looks really good on the menu, but we could not try them all obviously. The grilled cheese was excellent, and so was the Scotch egg (house favorite item on the menu). My “chic croissant” was good but a bit disappointing since I am not sure if it was home made or not…? I was expecting a much tastier croissant and warmer. It did not taste like it was fresh since we were the first to arrive with our 9 am reservation.
The service was almost outstanding from start to finish. The host offered us a hot drink since we got there a few minutes earlier than 9 am, and we got a table for 4 which was plenty of space for 2.
Where they missed out on the service level: the food sat on the pass for over 5 min. after the kitchen rang the bell! Not because all the servers were busy they just did not pay attention, so the food temperature was not as warm as it should have been. They also got my order wrong, so they had to re fire…
Since the tables are very close, the noise level was getting higher as the dining room got filled.

Regine Cafe is a brunch restaurant that is open from 9am to 3pm daily. This is a very popular place with long queues to be seated. We recently showed up around 9.15 and were able to be seated for a table for two. However, the place filled up quickly and a queue began to form no more than 10 minutes later.
Interior is a sort of eclectic themed decor. Menu is a fairly traditional western brunch and dessert assortment. On the day, we tried the Sucre Sale and Dore Banana french toast orders. These were both beautiful dishes, generous portion sized and tasted really good. Service was friendly and prices reasonable for the experience. Would be happy to do Regine again for bunch trying other items on their menu.
