Much too expensive for what it is. We ate carbonaras, half the pot of pepper was on the plate. As for the burata gnocchi and almond pesto, the recipe left a lot to be desired. Very disappointed, disappointing food.
Fortunately, the cook was friendly, but given the crowds there would have been two of them for the quality of service to be better.

This was our go to in downtown Montreal when we couldn’t decide on a sit down restaurant. The pastas are made in house and were cooked perfectly (al dente). I would recommend 100% to go here or at Le Central if you want a quicker meal. Service was great too!!

Ragu; Dough made on site, at first bite, I was surprised/disappointed. But it must be a matter of waiting because my guests really liked it. Remains expensive overall. I might still try another dish (in the future) to convince myself.

The gnocchi with burrata served here is DELICIOUS!! My sister and I got to meet the owner/menu creator and he was so kind and you could tell how passionate he was. Come here for great service and delicious pasta!

I recently grabbed a meal from Ragu, the takeaway counter in Lacentral, and tried their fusilli pasta in green pesto sauce. It was an exceptional experience! The pasta was cooked to perfection, maintaining a delightful al dente texture. The green pesto sauce was wonderfully aromatic, with a balanced blend of fresh basil, garlic, and a hint of parmesan. The addition of pine nuts added a delightful crunch, making each bite a joy. The portion was generous, and the packaging kept the meal warm and fresh. I highly recommend this dish for anyone looking for a quick, delicious, and satisfying meal. Ragu has truly nailed the art of takeaway pasta!
