one of my fav places to order and eat at, some may think its small and doesnt have enough seating, but in reality it encapsulates the feeling of being in a small restaurant in japan. i love the food and service. very affordable, always a good experience here.

Terrible Experience – Rude Staff & Bad Service

I had an absolutely worst experience at this restaurant. The staff was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with attitude, as if we were an inconvenience rather than customers.

The service was incredibly slow, and when we asked about our order, the waiter responded with an annoyed tone. To make things worse, they messed up our order and acted as if it was our fault. No apology, no attempt to fix it – just arrogance and dismissiveness.
( Rude with uber drivers also )

Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs!

I had the absolute worst experience at this so-called “Japanese restaurant.” From the moment I walked in, the service was rude and inattentive. The staff acted like they were doing me a favor just by acknowledging my presence.

The food? Disgusting. The sushi tasted old and had a weird smell—probably not even fresh. The rice was dry and hard, and the fish was anything but high quality. I wouldn’t be surprised if they used grocery store leftovers. Even the miso soup was watered down and bland.

To make matters worse, the restaurant was filthy. The tables were sticky, and I saw dirty plates sitting around for way too long. The restroom was a nightmare—honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the kitchen was just as bad.

And the prices? Absolutely outrageous for the garbage they serve. I wouldn’t eat here again if they paid me. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place!

I go there regularly, quite the hidden gem that offer good food at reasonable price compared to the options around, I love their -don meals

TL:DR. its freezing inside, there are only 2 tables with very uncomfortable chairs and there are random junk stacked up against the walls. The food to price ratio is ok though.

We went yesterday, when it was -7 outside, thinking it would be warm inside, we entered to what seems like a ghost kitchen. It was freezing, if you don't have an arc'teryx or a canada goose, don't even bother dining in. You will freeze to death.

Nobody was there to greet us, the employee came out gingerly and when we asked him questions, he spoke as soft as grass in the wind. Very difficult to understand. We sat down, tried to order one of their 3 noodles, he said they don't have the ingredient for 2 of them. It was 5:45pm, how can you not have ingredients when dinner service is starting.

In the end, we took a donburi for 12$, a yakiudon for 18$ and a karage chicken for 9$. It took them over 20 minutes to serve us and we were the only other 2 patrons in the place. The flip side is that at least it was freshly made.

Donburi was worth the 12$, nice large porc katsu on it, the yakiudon however, didn't feel like it had an extra 6$ worth of food on it. The karage was nothing special, a bit soft, not crispy enough but the dipping sauce was nice.

However the temperature indoors really turned our dining experience into a survival training. Our food instantly became cold and I was 2 minutes away from having a frostbite on my toes.

If you order them on uber eats, they are a decent option, but don't bother going there in person. The place needs lots of work.

Oh, and before I forget, ain't no way 15% of 22$% is 3.85$. that's some shady ass way of ripping off people at the end.

Authentic tasting Japanese home favorites including donburi and curry. I don't have any complaints about the food and experience as well as the value, my only recommendation is to put the takoyaki on a plate instead of bowl so they dont get soggy on the bottom ;) thanks for the katsu and oyakodon!

Excellent Karaage Don.

The takoyaki were so piping hot on arrival. Sliiiighly overdone octopus inside but that is because of the ejclosed box immediately after being made. I ordeted at around 11:30pm and got them at 1am. Still pretty fast considering their late night popularity and the fact my driver also had to stop at °My Crèpe° to complete my order before getting to me.

The shavings were just the right thinness and length, and God knows 8 love those sauces haha. Excited to go in person soon! Thanks!

P.S.: I demolished the 2 takoyaki immediately and then went for the karaage but here is what I remembered to get in photo; it was too good to think.

Dietary restrictions: A lot of seafood obviously but I think even all the sauces used def have gluten, be careful, my celiac friends!

Great, attentive service with a relaxed atmosphere. Honestly, the food was rather average compared to other restaurants that specialize in Japanese curry and katsu.

The curry katsu here is delicious! As well their service is great.
I ordered:
Curry udon
TonKatsu with curry
The curry here is a must its great. Not only that the pork kastu i got was so crispy and it goes so well with the curry. I wish they had a bit more curry though i felt it wasn’t enough ti go with the rice. Other than that i recommend coming here!
