It was my first time trying Raku and I must say, it's definitely not the last.
Well priced, portions are perfect, quality is amazing, and the staff are soo friendly; let's not forget about the ambience inside, very cozy.
Another thing i loved about it is the simple menu. And even though i was hesitant about choosing the side, a staff member was kind enough to get me an extra to test out (without me asking) and it was such a nice gesture.
11/10, highly recommended
After a late night of drinking… Raku was right what the doctor ordered. The sweet chili wings… The garlic soy wings… the chili fries. My man Gon! Chef’s Kiss brother!

Let me just say this. the food was an absolute DISASTER. I mean, that pork cutlet was so miserably dry it was like chewing on a piece of seasoned cardboard absolutely inedible. And don't even get me started on the chairs; they were like sitting on torture devices. To top it all off, the staff acted like they couldn’t care less and were downright rude. Honestly, the whole experience felt like a bad joke. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

The pork cutlet was incredibly dry, and the customer service was downright awful, honestly, it felt like we were being treated with zero respect. Overall, it was such a bad experience that it practically felt like a form of torture. Also the price is unimaginably expensive for this shitty food. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone.

Nice little take out spot for Katsu. Really enjoyed the service and meal. Enjoyed the pickles daikon and cabbage salad and the rice was perfect. The chicken Katsu was crisp and fresh and delicious.

I came here because I was craving some comfort food. I must say that their Karaage don really hit the spot. I truly enjoyed the fried chicken, as well as the egg and rice!

I used to love this place. But they just raised their porc katsu by 2 dollars. That is ridiculous. 17$ for a slice of porc (cheapest meat out there) and a ball of rice makes no sense. 15$ for as the perfect price because it is less than a shawarma plate but just enough to keep you going back. A shame they are getting greedy when they are nowhere close to being able to justify that price increase. You just lost 3 very loyal customers. The word will be spreading.

I LOVE this place! I recommend their Takoyakis and hot karage!
Terrible Experience – Rude Staff & Bad Service
I had an absolutely worst experience at this restaurant. The staff was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with attitude, as if we were an inconvenience rather than customers.
The service was incredibly slow, and when we asked about our order, the waiter responded with an annoyed tone. To make things worse, they messed up our order and acted as if it was our fault. No apology, no attempt to fix it – just arrogance and dismissiveness.
( Rude with uber drivers also )
This restaurant was bullshit, and the staff was rude and onwer to, and they are very rude with uber drivers they don’t have any etiquettes my worst experience ever. Don’t go there 🙏🏻
This restaurant is crap no good service staff is not good they don’t have manners and they are very rude
Horrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs!
I had the absolute worst experience at this so-called “Japanese restaurant.” From the moment I walked in, the service was rude and inattentive. The staff acted like they were doing me a favor just by acknowledging my presence.
The food? Disgusting. The sushi tasted old and had a weird smell—probably not even fresh. The rice was dry and hard, and the fish was anything but high quality. I wouldn’t be surprised if they used grocery store leftovers. Even the miso soup was watered down and bland.
To make matters worse, the restaurant was filthy. The tables were sticky, and I saw dirty plates sitting around for way too long. The restroom was a nightmare—honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if the kitchen was just as bad.
And the prices? Absolutely outrageous for the garbage they serve. I wouldn’t eat here again if they paid me. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place!
