Super delicious ramen! I got the spiciest ramen they had to offer (Red Dragon) and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich, flavourful and had the perfect amount of spice. The chashu was tender and the marinated egg was super yummy. Service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was clean and relaxed. Great spot for a satisfying bowl! I will definitely be coming back.
First off the service is very warm, our server explained the menu very thoroughly:)
I took the red spicy miso and my partner took the red dragon, both ramen were rich in flavour and the noodles were perfectly chewy, honestly felt like a breath of fresh air finally trying some good ramen in the area, I would say its one of the best restaurants on Wellington!! Definitely worth it and we will be coming back
I’ve recently visited Isshin Ramen Verdun and it was a truly outstanding experience from start to finish. The ramen broth was rich, comforting, and perfectly seasoned. The noodles had a great chew and texture, and the toppings—especially the tender chashu and the runny soft‑boiled egg—were fresh and flavorful.
The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy yet modern. They were able to handle a full house efficiently, and the wait time was reasonable even during a busy dinner rush. Portion sizes are generous, and the price is well worth it.
Five stars for cleanliness, friendly staff, and a menu with great variety—including vegetarian options. I’m already planning my next visit and recommend this place to ramen lovers in the Verdun area.
food was soo good. service A1+ Thank you everyone
Fantastic food
I have been a regular at this location of Ramen Isshin on Wellington street for about a year now and all I could tell you is that they are the best ramen place I have tried in Montreal. Their ramen is always flavorful and fresh. As an Asian who grew up in Asia, I could tell that everything is homemade with my first bite of the noodles and sip of the soup. They are also always launching a new article to make the experience more interesting to their customers. My latest best is their MATCHA KAKIGORI (A SHAVED ICE OR A BINGSU). OH MY GOD, it's really refreshing and addictive. It's a must try, especially during the hot days of summer. You won't regret it. The server Betul went above and beyond to accommodate my order by making a new kakigori base on the spot when they ran out of it that day. All that being said, you won't regret going there because they got the best food and service in town!! 🥰🥰🥰
The bowl and the takoyaki were good.

Ultra tasty ramen, prepared with care and rich in taste! Delicious and comforting, they are definitely worth the detour. A must-try address for fans of Japanese cuisine.

I'm usually not someone who'll give bad review, but the food was just ok and the infuriating amount of plastic used for the togo version of 2 simple ramens was just too much for me, I should have asked before what kind of containers they use to go...I'd never have ordered. There are perfectly good alternatives to plastic to contain even bouillon like ramen, I've seen it at other Ramen places. And even if you use plastic...does it have to be two whole containers stacked on top of one another and three times as large as the food it contains? There's no excuses anymore I mean, you gotta know that plastic is bad for everything and everyone...(and supposed to be illegal for one use plastics at that...I guess no one cares). If at some points those containers are made of compostable or something other than plastic I'll be happy to come back. I live nearby, I wanted to try it since I pass it by a lot, and I love ramen, but I can't come back and feel like crap and be angry because there seems to be a total carelessness about plastic pollution. That's just sad. I guess I could eat inside but just seeing those togo containers go while I eat would just make me sad just as well so...no thanks.

Very cute very busy small ramen place in Verdun. Most nights you will have to queue to be able to get a table.
The food is really good. Very rich broth full with flavor but can be more generous when it comes to the protein portion.
2 pieces of sliced porc was not enough for my big appetite.
I ordered the red dragon miso ramen and the garlic sesame veggie ramen.
The chicken karaage was also really good but took a long time to come which made our soups take more time as well.

Portions are small, restaurant is small. IMO if you want good ramen in Montreal, Sansotei is strictly better

The BBQ pork is extremely thin, and only 2 pieces. If you don't know how to cut pork for ramen, you can learn from youtube. If the same thing happens in Japan, no one would come to your restaurant anymore. Plus, you are not even a genuine Japanese ramen restaurant. Terrible experience. Horrible price.

For the ramen fest! I had the red miso ramen. Really good but even better with an egg inside (extra) the edamame starter was very generous.

I did a delivery with Ubereats as I’m in a hotel for work. This establishment did not include the cutlery I added to the delivery. I would recommend this establishment open up their comment section when ordering so I could remind them cutlery is kinda important for Ramen. Also it would be rad just to ask for things on the side and not inside the ramen bowl.
