Lol this trash gave me food poisoning. Pork belly was deep fried or something, tofu came frozen (also why is there tofu in non vegan ramen), and bamboo tasted rotten. I’d avoid at all cost

I think this place is short staffed, waited at least 45 mins for food. Taste was mediocre at most

2025: it was quiet but somehow the service was inattentive. The food arrived quickly though. I don't think the tantan deluxe is for me and the pork was a little overcooked, but the takoyaki was nice. I like that they had anime on the screens.
2018: Ramen was very good, flavourful and a sizeable portion. I like that you can add more ingredients in for a small fee. Fried chicken was disappointing. Service was efficient. Small place, can easily have lineups.

Very tasty and sacent food, the place is small but very cozy. The ramen was spectacular and the quality-price is very good.
Great Ramen. Probably the best I’ve had in Quebec since moving back from the West coast. Definitely should go!

Flavorful ramen with tasty, hearty broth and generous toppings. Service is quick and friendly. Cozy atmosphere, though it can get crowded during peak hours. Great spot for ramen lovers.

I ordered two ramen combos from this restaurant through Uber Eats, but only received one when the delivery arrived. I called the restaurant immediately, and the staff told me to place another order for one ramen combo and said they would contact their boss to send me an e-transfer refund. I followed their instructions, but I never received the money.
The next day, I called again to follow up. A different staff member answered, told me she would speak with the boss, and never got back to me. On the third day, I called once more and was hung up on right after I explained the situation. After that, I haven’t been able to reach the restaurant at all—my calls won’t go through anymore, and it feels like my number has been blocked.
This is unacceptable customer service and a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend ordering from this place.
Update: After posting this review, the restaurant reached out to me with an apology and an explanation. It turns out the refund via e-transfer was sent to the wrong email address due to a typo on their end. They acknowledged the mistake, took responsibility, and also addressed the poor communication and unprofessional phone response I experienced. They offered a 50% off coupon as a gesture of goodwill, which I appreciate.
While I still believe the situation could have been handled better from the start — especially with clearer communication and follow-up — I do appreciate their effort to make things right after the fact. I’ve decided to keep the original review up for transparency, but I also want to acknowledge that the restaurant did take ownership and apologized sincerely.

I’ve walked past this unassuming little ramen shop for years. When an old friend said they made the best ramen in town I was eager to try. I’m so glad I did!!I had the deluxe gold, and it was one of the best ramen I’ve ever had.

Regardless of bring about 40 minutes before closing, the wait wasn't bad, and ramen was spectacular. Genuinely the best bowl I've had in a while. Another review said they'd be dreaming about that bowl and I agree. Affordable and filling, we're coming back for sure, and bringing friends

Our 2 ramen are both delicious, noodle soup is very good also. but some comments are correct online: the restaurant is old, dark and not too clean. The 4 pieces of seaweed was not fresh enough, not crispy, and was already limp. That's it.

The owner of the restaurant is terrible. The ramen in the photo clearly comes with three pieces of chashu, which is exactly what I ordered. But just because I ordered takeout, the owner only gave me one piece of meat.
The ramen shop is run by Chinese people. To be honest, although most Japanese ramen restaurants in Canada are run by Chinese, when it comes to tonkotsu ramen, the majority of them are fairly authentic because they use real pork bones to make the broth.
But this particular shop definitely does not use bone-broth soup. I don’t know what they used to imitate tonkotsu broth, but when I put the soup in the fridge and took it out later, it had solidified into a bouncy, jelly-like substance. I used a spoon to dig into it and saw that the inside wasn’t even soup anymore — it looked like some kind of solid made from flour or something else.
I was visiting Montreal as a tourist and normally live in another province. In my area, authentic Japanese tonkotsu ramen broth stays liquid when refrigerated. But the ramen I had at this shop didn’t taste like tonkotsu broth at all — the flavor was bad and completely off.
In fact, they clearly don’t know how to make proper Japanese ramen and didn’t use pork bones for the soup. The owner just used some spices to fake the flavor. I really suggest people stop going there. With so many other Japanese restaurants nearby, you should try something truly authentic instead.

This was the worst ramen I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been to many ramen restaurants, and this one was by far the most disappointing. The chashu was decent, but the broth was overly salty and lacked depth of flavor. The egg wasn’t runny and tasted stale. Even the water had a metallic taste. The shop itself was small and unclean — overall, a very unpleasant experience.

good ramen for good price. Third time coming here. Definitely recommend getting the ramen with a couple toppings like egg, pork or whatever to make it more interesting (base flavour gets boring after a while) silver shiro spicy
