Best ramen I ever ate. I recommand

The ramen here was spectacular, super filling, and so fresh. I had the vegetarian tan tan miso ramen and I will be dreaming of that broth for years! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was quaint, there was even anime on the tv!

Been going to this place for the last 4 years it’s been the best since day one. Also!! The broth doesn’t need to be changed, it’s prefect the way it is ! (05/09/2025)

It was very fast and service was good largely because it was not-busy. The menu is extremely pork-y (one could get vegetarian ramens then add extra ingredients as sides and the takoyaki is decent; but when you're scanning through the menu it feels like 80% pork).

Love that they play anime in the restaurant!

Flavors? What's flavors?

I love the ramen here because they serve big, tasty bowls. The BBQ pork makes it feel like Japan!

Good ramen. A bit on the expensive side.

Loved the spicy wonton and the dandan!

This was my favorite ramen when I was living in Montreal back in the 2018-2020. Now I traveled with my husband and came back again, everything changed!! The service is terrible and the food is not cooking well…. The noodle as you can see in the picture , the noodles clumped together and didn’t cook properly… bad experience!!!

My spouse and I are vegetarian & we are always on the hunt for excellent vegetarian ramen. Ramen Misoya hits it out of the park. Every fan of vegetarian ramen should make sure to check out Ramen Misoya when in Montreal. I got the Tantan, my spouse got the silver with an egg. Both were outstanding. Excellent flavor, toppings, noodles, etc. 👌

You have to go down a flight of stairs to get in and we were a bit nervous with our stroller and 5-month old. But the staff was incredibly helpful and it was not a problem at all.

Pretty typical ramen place - not about the ambience, it's about the food.

This was my go-to (5/5/5) lunch place before the pandemic. I can't remember how many loyalty cards I punched in this restaurant. Going back here 5 years later, only DISAPPOINTMENT!

Food: bland soup. small and overcooked chashu. There are still 3 pcs of chashu in the bowl, but each one is about 1/3 or 1/4 as big as they were before. The noodle, well . . . undercooked and not blended with the soup taste. Try cooking instant ramen properly, and you will be more impressed.

Service: this is the worst experience I have ever had here, especially in comparison to all other Asian restaurants of similar prices. The waitress is impatient, distracted, and inconsiderate. While I'm eating, she sprays table cleaner on the table left and right next to me. The liquid almost flew into my bowl, and the smell was acidic and chemically perfumed. Major sin in any Japanese food restaurant, and major health risk that should be inspected. Spraying chemicals next to someone eating?

Atmosphere: is there any left? +1 for memory.
Overall, will not revisit or recommend anyone to be there.

Delicious and savory ramen, with vegetarian options.

The restaurant is located in the basement. The place was clean and replicates the ramen shop feel of Japan. The food was good. The service was a little slow. They only had one cook. Parking is in the street.
