We had madras lamb and butter chicken rice and garlic naan

Service was indifferent.

We ordered large curries to share but the bowls were too small

The madras lamb was good and had lots of lamb.

The butter chicken was ok and had lots of chicken.

The only positive aspect of this restaurant was the ambience. The portion sizes were extremely small—I had to order three dishes just for myself. Despite it being a non-busy day, the service was slow. The prices simply don’t match the quantity; for instance, the $17 Paneer Kadhai came without gravy, which we had to request separately. The chicken curry was served in a bowl more suited for home use than a restaurant.

While the taste of the food was genuinely good, the serving sizes did not justify the high prices. I’ve tried over 30 Indian restaurants in Montreal, including fine dining spots, and this was by far the most disappointing in terms of value for money. Inflation cannot justify the cost and the portion size. Looks like they are investing more in ambience rather than the food quantity.

Unfortunately not a good experience. The food was bland and lacked attention to details. The Allo Gobi was pretty much tasteless, the Fried mushrooms were still raw inside, the Chana masala wasn’t fully cooked, the lentil patties were very cold. I’ve been to Rasoi a few years ago and it’s sad to see how it has become. The bathrooms were dirty and smelled like moisture. What a shame…. Not sure if the owners are aware of the lack of care the staff has for providing a good experience to patrons. With the right management, this place can get back on track. I hope they do.

Underrated. Went for breakfast. No one there. Got an omelette and a Thali. Fine flavors, fresh fluffy naan, meats and veggies not drenched in over-powering curry. Not a bit of digestive discomfort unlike so many indian restaurants I've been too. Highly recommend.

Delicious food and lots of seating space! We got the onion bhaji, chili paneer, chicken vindaloo, baigan bartha, lamb korma, naan, and biryani. Our favourites were the chili paneer, onion bhaji, and lamb korma. Everything was delicious!!!!! Would recommend for any group setting. Prices are average, and portions are approriate-not large, but good for one person.

Very good. I suggest their spiciest lamb vindaloo. Spicier than most meals in quebec, but not as spicy as I was hoping. Still, very above average cuisine, service and ambiance. Restaurant was very clean.

Foods good, but a little pricey. The music is a tad bit too loud too.

The service was extremely slow. We ordered both drinks and food, yet after an hour, we still only had water on our table. While the samosas were tasty, the rest of the meal was just average. The atmosphere is lovely, with a warm vibe, but given the many better options in the area, I can't recommend this place. Additionally, the staff didn't speak French.
