Rendez-vous Bistro - Indian Cuisine Redefined

Being an Indian and a foodie, I am always looking for authentic Indian restaurants, and this one definitely made it to one of my favs. I was surprised to see dishes like Laal Maas and Gatta Curry on the menu!!! Kudos to the owner for the bold move of adding authentic Rajasthani cuisine in the menu!
I ordered
dahi kebab = soft inside, crispy outside, perfect chutneys on the side. Melts in the mouth!
Basil Chicken tikka= soft and juicy with the perfect blend of basil and spices.
Laal Maas= Indian level spicy so be careful! If you can handle the heat you need to try this dish! Will definitely go back for it!
Panner methi churma = rich sauce, soft paneer, perfect amount of methi!
Paan kulfi = MUST TRY!!!! This made me nostalgic and brought me back to India! The flavors of meetha paan are perfect in this kulfi!!!

Definitely recommended and will go back!!! ❤️

Best Indian food restaurant in Montreal! The food was absolutely amazing — with true, authentic Rajasthani flavour. Every dish was rich, delicious, and brought back beautiful memories of Udaipur.

The ambience gives a real taste of Rajasthan, and you can feel the authenticity in every detail — especially because the owner, the chef, and the staff are all originally from Rajasthan.

Special shoutout to Shaurya — he was super nice, humble, and his service made the experience even better.

Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine Indian food with the true taste of Rajasthan!

Rendezvous is my go to Indian restaurant. They truly redefine the Indian cuisine by bringing dishes from India culturally rich and not easily found in many restaurants.

Tried the Rajasthani butter milk and panner methi chaman. Really loved the paneer methi chaman to order it again next time but will try more dishes here next time.

Amazing food and top notch service!
Tried chat papri and the platter was very appetizing. Main course was equally pleasant. Highly recommend this place to try out dishes that you don’t easily find on an Indian restaurant menu :)

Best food we had while in Montreal. Cocktails were top notch, I recommend the “Pretty in the Cage”. Amazing.

I’ve visited Rendez-vous Bistro twice now, and both times the experience has been excellent. The food, presentation, and service all stand out. The Bhatti ka Murg and Dahi ke Kabab were absolutely amazing — full of flavor and perfectly cooked, definitely must-try starters. The Garlic Naan paired really well with both Murg Rajputana and Chicken Tikka Masala, which were rich, flavorful, and authentic.

The ambiance is cozy yet refined, and the staff are attentive without being intrusive. One thing to note — if you request Indian spicy, be prepared! They take spice levels seriously, and it can get genuinely spicy 🌶🌶🌶, so order accordingly.

I’m already planning to go back soon — the Thali is next on my list. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving well-made Indian food in Montreal.

DO NOT GO HERE!! i trusted the 4.8 stars but my experience was horrible. i would give this 0 stars if i could. first of all, the ambience is not good, the seats are teared down.
we ordered 2 cocktails and both were absolutely trash. one of them looked like sewage water with peels of oranges floating on top. and we literally saw the guy taste it with a spoon before serving us (idk what he tasted, bcs it was horrible).
our chicken gravy came out, it was so salty, we had to send it back. my garlic naan had a piece of hair in it. i lost my appetite by then.
even the servers were so unprofessional, no smile nothing just monotonous and watching instagram reels in loud volume like where are the basic etiquettes??
the prices are outrageous for this kind of food quality and service. $110 for 2 people.
i was so disappointed as i was here only for 2 nights and i wasted one of those nights on this dinner. i def would never come back here again.

I recently visited rendez vous bistro, a cozy neighborhood bistro that manages to feel both upscale and welcoming. From the moment I walked in, the warm lighting and gentle hum of conversation set a relaxed tone.

I started with the roasted beet salad, which was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy. For the main course, the seared salmon with lemon-dill sauce was cooked to perfection—crispy skin, tender inside, and paired with buttery asparagus.

Service was attentive but never intrusive, and our server had great wine recommendations. Dessert was a highlight: the chocolate lava cake was decadent without being too heavy.

Overall, The Copper Spoon is a gem worth returning to. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and it’s a great spot for a date night or a special dinner with friends.
