I will highly recommend this restaurant to people who like very good food. During our stay in Montreal we really enjoyed our meals. Food was fresh, delicious and the staff were very nice et available. We really feel at home and we give thanks and appreciation to the staffs. See you on our next trip.

The food was authenticly Ghanaian. Very good customer service.
It's best to order ahead and pick up. Unfortunately, it is not an eat-in restaurant, which would have been nice. Montreal needs an elegant Ghanaian eat-in restaurant.

The dishes are all delicious. Affordable prices considering the quality/quantity ratio. We have been going to this place for at least 12 years and have always been pampered by the welcome, delighted by the dishes and happy to frequent Akwaba!!!

This food has aided in my conversion to african food. Fresh and just so tasty! You can call in advance to order as it does take a little time, but worth the wait. Staff is friendly

Their “Foufou sauce graine” was really good, I already went back twice but just know that you need to order in advance on their website since they don’t take orders at site.

My friend and I came from Ottawa to eat their dishes and were not at all disappointed, they were all good and in terms of quality and quantity the prices were really worth it. Hats off and big thank you because they were really warm and kind

I loved my experience at Akwaba! My friends and I tasted fufu with seed sauce and attiéké for the first time. It was a pure delight. My favorite dish was the Akwaba braised chicken with white rice on the side. I highly recommend !

What I mainly liked was their spicy grilled chicken. It really tastes like country.Don’t hesitate to go there for my friends who come mainly from Africa, you will be very well served for what they sometimes want to find African flavor ??
