I went with a friend around 6pm on a Friday. I recommend getting there early because it’s gets very busy. By the time we left there was a line of people waiting for a table. The servers were great but since they were so slammed it did take them a while to come back around to us and then get us the bill. We ordered the guacamole and the beef and pork tacos. Food was great. We spent around $30 each.

Great New Mexican restaurant in the heart of NDG (Monkland Village). The food is amazing (both times we ordered the guacamole, soft Tacos Suadero and the Fish Tacos. The fired plantains are also very good!! The food is fresh and authentic!! From the moment you walk in, the warmth of the staff and the rich aromas from the kitchen make it clear that you are in for something special. This place is a local gem!!

I recommend going to amaranto for authentic mexican cuisine and some very good margaritas!

The staff is very friendly and generous!

Food is very normal, I wouldn't say the restaurant is bad, but food lacks a bit of flavor and the portions are very small for the cost of the dishes. Not a bad option for people who want to explore Mexican food in Montreal, but not my favorite.

The food is very delicious. The food taste like there is a grandma in the Kitchen making everything from scratch. The service was great lil Brazilian girl is so cute and polite . The only thing is the bar under the restaurant. If you dont mind the music then the restaurant os great !

The food here is unreasonably delicious. Everything tasted fresh and had many layers of flavor. The person who helped us was friendly, knowledgeable, and warm.

Food is pricey and portions are small ( considering the price)but filling.
Is it the nuttiest mexican resto in mtl? No.
Is worth a stop? Yeah. Give it a try.

Personally, the tomatillo sauce was really good in my plate, but I feel the meat lacks the Mexican zing I've had in other joints. The chips to start are okay.

Idk man just... Try it, maybe it's your thing. It's not totally mine though.

Important precision. This restaurant has been a Mexican restaurant for a year. Formerly, it was a popular Spanish paella and tapas restaurant.
Error on the part of the owners; offering some Spanish tapas which are mediocre and a real shame for Spanish cuisine.
7 tiny shrimp drowned in two inches of frying oil. The cod accras were served frozen, lukewarm breading and cold inside. The $9 olives were a real massacre for the mouth and the wallet. Grocery Quality Unnamed Brand. Bitter, nasty in the mouth. And finally, the squid was worthy of a frozen box bought in a supermarket.
Worst tapas meal ever! Being a connoisseur of Spanish cuisine, I have frustrating memories of this place with its depressing atmosphere. Acceptable service.
