I give 3 stars because the matcha latte was tops!!!! My soup... the noddles were good, good texture and not overcooked. I did not like the broth too oily and it was kinda sweet... The flavor wasnt it for me. The egg i like them more with a jammie egg yolk so it was overcooked a little bit...What happened with the other half of the egg? Otherwise the place was cute. Service nothing extraordinary. It wasnt packed but it still took a while to get served with the food. Warning>>>U gotta pay b4 u get the food ...

NEVER AGAIN !!!
I normally don't leave a review unless I have something nice to say but after my first (and surely last) visit to this place I felt compelled to write this:
1. Clueless and completely indifferent staff who messed up my orders and couldn't be bothered with a simple apology.Actually, not only did they not apologize or show the slightest hint of empathy but they blamed me for making the mistake ( I promise you I didnt, they just couldnt be bothered listening properly when I was ordering).
2. Cold soups (or luke warm at best)
3. Average food, small portions and steep prices.
4. Since when do we pay for tip before getting served??!! Here, you will have to pay tip before you even sit down. Bonus: you order up at the counter, they do not bring you a menu or get your order at the table (which would be fine if they didnt make you pay for that tip before even sitting down).
5. Cold uninviting atmosphere. If you're looking for some authentic and warm vibes, you won't find them here.
6. Did I mention the staff/service sucks? I need to say it again...terrible and comes with a passive-aggressive attitude. They have so much to learn about providing good service, starting with some basic manners. Girls, if you're reading this review I'd like to ask you just one thing: do you even care?
Craving some good Thai? You can do way better than this place, I promise you. Don't fall for the reviews as so many of them are clearly fake.

Girl at the front will definitely ruin your experience. She screwed our order, brought 1 soup, instead of 2. Could've been easily handled but the fact that you argued with us about our ordered and made my boyfriend go pay the second soup while is soup is getting even colder. When asked to get it warmed up in microwave it was so complicated, she had to ask.... Almost 20$ for a cold soup....very very oily also, lacks taste also. We didn't finish, hope you learn about customer service and fast! My boyfriend and I eat at restaurants pretty often, we stay away from leaving bad reviews but this is necessary. Do not leave tip before you live the experience!

Perfect place for a noodle fix! 🍜 Bang Luck has a gentle way of bringing comforting Thai flavours to Montreal. I’d recommend going for lunch and benefitting from their combo meal which comes with a main and wontons for ~ 20$.

Bangluck offers a comforting and well executed meal with rich umami flavors that satisfy. Though entrées and side dishes lean a bit overpriced for the portions. Still, the cooking shows care and consistency,

Based on my brief experience at this location, I had concerns related to food-handling practices. I observed cooked chicken being prepared and cut on the same cutting boards and surfaces used for vegetables and vegetarian items, without clear separation. Hand hygiene between handling different ingredients also appeared inconsistent. I additionally noticed insects present on kitchen walls and surfaces. I am sharing this as a personal observation and hope these issues are addressed.

Highly recommend and trying this small business. Been a returning customer for quiet some time now and always satisfied with the food quality and portions.

The food tasted fine but the portion is small for what they are charging. Service was good and staff was friendly.
Overall it is ok but not worth repeating.

The food here was so good! My best friend made me discover this place and I was very impressed. I couldn't tell you if these are traditional or not, maybe not entirely, but they were both delicious. The service was good as well. This is a great casual spot to go to for a comforting bowl of noodles or soup.

Quain little thai place on the plateau. A bit pricey, but good portions and great taste.
Definitely try the mango sticky rice dessert!

You’re asked to tip before sitting down... which feels a bit unusual for a dine-in experience. The server wasn’t very attentive, and our order was mixed up, leaving one of us with a cold meal. The food itself was just okay, and for the price, it didn’t quite meet expectations.

the food that we did eat, was good! But my mother has an allergy to garlic, and I to gluten and dairy. I mentioned this as we walked in the door as to be as accommodating as possible since we know it’s a nightmare to serve allergy groups like us lol! But when my mother received her plates she tasted garlic in the first plate and thought it may just be in the sauce so she avoided the sauce. But her soup was full of garlic and when we asked the server said that it “only had a little bit” but… it’s an allergy lol, that’s not really how they work. Thankfully they refunded us but we will not be dining there again as they didn’t really understand the concept of allergies . Plus they only had one gluten free option which is totally ok, just not super allergy friendly.

Overall enjoyable experience but a bit pricey for what it is. The tomyum tasted great and the noodles were chewy. The soy noodle was very ordinary and didn’t spark joy. The shrimp toast was greasy but was satisfying to eat. The papaya salad was a bit plain. The drinks were good but a bit small.
The place is small and doesn’t have a lot of tables. We went for lunch on a weekday and were able to have a table right away after ordering.
