I gave it 5 stars because I'm more interested in the food than the decor. The atmosphere is basic, the decor too, but I really liked the bum Bâ hué, original with lots of interesting flavors, a very, very good soup. I tried the fish soup too and it was ?. For people who want to get away from the traditional tastes of the Viets of Montreal, but with typically Vietnamese tastes in addition to originality, this is really a place for that.
Ordered a Pho Dac Biet. The broth was bland, no flavour or depth. Came with only one type of meat. No beef balls, no tripe, no tendons, no rare beef. Just chunky bites of well-done beef. No lime or greens. On top of that, really expensive.
One of the rare restaurants in Montreal that does bún mắm! We went to this restaurant because my mother had a craving for this noodle soup, and we were all impressed by the generosity of the portions, but especially the flavors of their soup!
