Wonderful experience for the celebration of my mother's birthday. The staff is competent and friendly. Best sushi restaurant in Montreal. Thank you for very much the delicious meal and outstanding desserts. I recommend to my colleagues and friends.

It was a great experience. The omakase is a very good date night idea. All the course were tasty and delicious. We had 6 courses and the waitress (Tina) was kind enough to added 2 extra dishes for free. The best last date of the year. We will definitely go there again to discover the menu. One best sushi and sashimi in Montreal.

For the experience to be worth it you have to truly like sushi and fish. My partner enjoyed it but I didn't. It's okay, quality of food is great, but I think it's overall too expensive.

Very expensive i had to eat right after we left because my stomach was still empty. Piece of meat quarter of a quarter of an ounce for 40$ ... Ridiculous will not recommend to my worst enemy.

We picked the Omakaze experience last night and it was not worth it. I had maybe 20 bites of food total for $150. The wine/sake pairing was also subpar. The pours came late and did not justify the $70+ cost. Overall, the standard menu looked great but felt like the Omakaze was a complete waste of money and not filling at all.
My boyfriend and I shared a bunch of stuff and every single thing was amazing! Our waitress was amazing, so kind, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back next time we are in the city.

Best quality sushi I've ever had period! This was also the most expensive restaurant I've ever been too... The fatty bluefin tuna was absolutely delicious!! I wish I could eat here all the time.
It was a great experience overall, the only thing I liked a little less is that I asked to get the rest of my food to go and they forgot it. Other than that, it was great and I would go back.

Très bel endroit, excellent service, la qualité et le gout des aliments étaient irréprochables lors de visite. Bel endroit pour inviter des clients ou célébrer avec vos proches.

Great service. Attentive. Most sushi great, but some could be upscaled a bit in taste. But I recommend this restaurant, very much so. The experience is still to the top. Music was a bit too loud last night.
excellence . everything we ate - sashimi , maki was fresh and in the case of the latter was well designed to have distinctive taste. some places just have a pile of stuff assembled with no ‘theme'. very happy
I've had good experiences at Ryu before but this time wasn't that good. The 12 piece sashimi platter was very sad looking. The tuna did not have a very pleasant looking color and did not taste very good. Park restaurant is way better. I think they store and source their fish a lot better. Save your money and go to Park.

We enjoyed the Omakase experience with sake & wine pairing. I, being the Sake drinker, would recommend it over the wine - if drinking wine just order two glasses of what you want. Sake lovers will enjoy a wonderful selection of four sakes. Each are unique and go lovely with its paired Sushi/Nigiri/Sashimi. Artful presentation accentuates the flavors for a waiting palette. I don't understand playing music with lyrics as a dinning experience - 90's r/b with 60's classics I do not get that - music should be heard but not listened to when dining - background- ambient- subtle : not interjecting combative and a bit to loud. My age is irrelevant my expectation is to fine not dance or sing.

Still very good sushi. Prices don't make sense! For lunch, no drinks, no appetizer of side, with service and taxes, we ended up with a $100 bill per person. And I was still very hungry.

Incredible restaurant! Food was outstanding and the service was wonderful. A really cool space inside with a fun vibe, will definitely make a stop here again the next time I visit Montreal.
