Honestly, I love the place even though they’re closed on the days I usually want takeout but now they changed the smoked meat in the smoked meat poutine and I’m so disappointed considering I dropped 24$ on it. I’ll still go back but not for the smoked meat
It’s a cute little greasy spoon with a friendly atmosphere
This is the best restaurant in Montreal. The service, food, and atmosphere is unparalleled to any other place in Montreal. Sitting and eating in this restaurant makes you feel like you’re in a movie. The service given here is better than any other restaurant I’ve been to in my life.
No where else in Montreal has stood up to the test of time like Restaurant Da Frank
I recommend I cheeseburger with a side of fries.

Overall, it's just old and outdated. This is a family run CASH OLNY licensed restaurant. They do a decent pizza. The gravy for their poutine is runny, making the fries soggy. They use fresh vegetables, which is nice.
The server was nice and polite.
The place is bright and the radio is something to be desired. The clientèle seems to be of the older crowed.
If you are in the area and have cash in your pocket to get rid of, stop in.

Claims open on google on Labor Day but when we arrived it was closed
Lived in the sector for 20 years and always ordered from other pizza place around but never at Don Da Frank's on Laurendeau Street near de l eglise in côté st Paul (Other side of the aqueduct of Verdun)
First I ordered a small pepe cheese ... it was a real pizza similar to mine and I was amazed
So next I took the #2 sub and man was I pleased with that 14 inch !
Many thanks to this institution to have great authentic food not being cheap in Quantity ...its a gem
