Nice Indian food, one of the best in Montreal if not the best, both in terms of taste and price. My only issue is that it was cold and din when I went there, i think they wanted to same on the hydro bill lol

We have been visiting this restaurant every Tuesday for the past three weeks because the food has always been very good. However, this time we had an unpleasant experience. My wife politely requested, “please don’t add ginger,” and the server responded by saying, “you used to eat it before, what happened now?”
This kind of reply is unprofessional and unnecessary. Customer requests should be respected without arguing or questioning their preferences. We really liked the food here, but this behavior was disappointing and made us rethink our experience.

i keep ordering from Didar because they are quite literally the best indian resto in montreal. The quality of their food is top notch and the service even better. Its been 15 years that i have been going here (before the name change) and the quality has never changed. I placed an uber eats order and even though i forgot to add free promotional item the staff was more then willing to add it to my order. Very classy, and appreciated!!!!!
