I got the beef bariyani & garlic naan. It was so good, it really quenched my soul. The service was a bit slow, waiting for the menu a bit and to put the order in. But once the food came I was a happy duckA great meal for the evening

Slowest service you can imagine. Manager and Waiter kept catering to one customer. Didn’t had enough staff. Taste of food was bland but it can be due to connection to Gandhi/Gujarat. Prices are expensive but probably due to the location. Hope they hire more help and get their service better.

Worst Indian eaten ever! Reheated onion bhajis, very mediocre butter chicken, the lamb very ordinary, the dishes were lukewarm and the rice very hot... yet the restaurant was far from full. We took a combo for two for $105. One bite of each meal was enough to not continue. I don't recommend you at all. There are much better Indian restaurants in Montreal. On the other hand, we had good service.

I am on vacation with my husband from Miami, we love Indian food. We loved the food it was great, and Farouk the owner was also very attentive.
Excellent à part 2 exceptions faciles à corriger : soupe trop liquide et légumes trop cuits. Je recommande ce restaurant.

I am very much a fan of this restaurant as I am fond of their butter chicken. The recipe is sweet and has a subtle coconutty note.It is not spicy at all, which some may not like but offers a unique opportunity for others.Eat in or order out infrequently, would recommend.First visit was 6 years ago and quality hasn't swayed.

Honestly! The worst experience ever I’ve had at an Indian restaurant was this. Not just the portion sizes but the basic etiquette of a staff member made me think about if anything at this restaurant was Indian. The chicken Tikka that was served as 4 slim round slices of chiseled single piece sold at $12.95. That portion was not even 20gms of chicken. Just one item I would recommend is Vindaloo Chicken. This one dish was 9/10.
Favourite Indian restaurant when visiting Montreal. Fabulous location, atmosphere is really great. Always busy, which is a good sign. The food is terrific and the waiters are knowledgable. If you like very spicy food they can accommodate.
Still excellent service but still lacks ambiance. The dining room is still unsettlingly cold and the sound system is still completely inaudible.Flavour points were underwhelming across the board. The only vegetable in the korma aside from beans and onion were sad little chunks of potato. I could elaborate about the floury bhaji and chalky paneer but on a positive note:The chicken tikka was passable with a nice smokiness to it.Montreal is a great city for Indian cuisine but you'll have to journey out of Old Montreal to actually get some.

Best service ever received at ANY restaurant in my entire life. Everything is sincerely perfect and Farrouk, the owner, is unparalleled kindness.

Rotten service and insoluble food. I suggest people continue on their way and go to any other restaurant.
