Saturday night we celebrated my niece confirmation at La Molisana. As usual, the food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive but most of all the atmosphere had the perfect vibe for a special family occasion. So much fun !! Thank you Mickey and the gang for once again making us feel taken care of and especially for making us feel right at home. You never disappoint :)

Came for a birthday dinner. Place was nearly empty. I must say, I wanted to enjoy it, the service was very slow, which was confusing because not many people were there. I believe larger party came in to the private room but I don’t think out server was part of that. Although the live singer is talented, it was simply too loud and we could not hear each other speak. Halfway through , two ladies came to hang out at the bar and were so disruptive! They were and annoyingly obnoxious. Low class making fools of themselves. They seemed to be regulars. Anyhow, none of us will be returning unfortunately.
To reply to the restaurant’s reply to me; My friend was 20 minutes late because she couldn’t find parking and no, the time we waited for her had nothing to do with the time we waited in between dishes. Especially when we saw her birthday cake sitting on the counter for 15 minutes before it was served to her. Also, my fiend who arrived late, pontes at my drink and asked for the same, was brought something else and waiter argued with her saying that she asked for that drink while all she did was point to mine and asked for the same. I can see that arguing with clients is a pattern here. Yes, I am aware you are known to have a lively singer. Am i allowed to have my own opinion on that? Guess not. Those two patrons at the bar were very loud and obnoxious by dancing around and slapping men’s behinds in front of tables (ours being the closest). Am I allowed to have my opinion on that? Guess not. My friends 4 star review on Libro, it was her celebration, she has her opinion. Am I allowed to have my own? Guess not either.

1dt time at Molisana, had a good time listening to and dancing to very nice music. For a very busy night the service was good. My meal soup and pasta of the day, taste wise extremely good. Downside, my soup arrived leak warm and a small portion. My pasta was abit warmer, still it should have been hot. My main critic , for the price of 45$ there should have been 2 cantiloni and double the amount of gnoccis. Soup wise there should have been double the amount.I would go back if it was a special occasion, but otherwise no because it was too expensive.

The rest of the staff on site were pretty average. The busboy kept hanging on or leaning on us when he went to get the dishes (1 plate at a time) and was unable to answer any questions. He said to ask 《the waiter》 or that he didn't know (before leaving). Thus leaving the server alone for a group of 40.
The singer looked like he had never held a microphone in his life. That or that the audio equipment was mediocre because 3 times all the speakers started to distort as much as possible. After the meal the music became so loud that we could no longer hear ourselves speaking. The bass is dominant, as is often the case with low-end speakers.
The price vs the food would have been correct if we had not been forced to take the table d'hôte. Table d'hôte more expensive ($45 to $57) than items separately from the online menu...
The cherry on top of the tiramitsu being that we had to ask for dessert included with the table d'hôte. This is because, as we had our own cake, the restaurant actually charged the full price for the table d'hôte, without including their dessert or offering it to us. The waiter did not persist when we asked him, but it was clear that the instruction was not to offer dessert since we were the only ones who received it and he had initially pointed out the cake to us. that we had brought.
