While passing through Montreal, I went to Le Carré at the invitation of a friend knowing that I was embarking on a real culinary experience. Everything there was exquisite, starting with the Halloumi starter and the grilled squid. The Wagyu burger was perfectly enhanced by the smoked mustard. The tuna tartare was deliciously spicy and what can we say about the fried chips that accompanied it all. The ponzu sauce combined everything perfectly.Unfortunately I didn't have time to eat dessert, but the ones I had the opportunity to see looked delicious!The Le Carré mojito was as surprising as it was exceptional! To try!

For our Valentine's dinner, we chose this restaurant, and while the experience was decent overall, it didn't quite reach the level of exceptional. The food, including pasta, salad, and wagyu carpaccio, was satisfactory, but none stood out as truly exceptional. You won't be disappointed, but you won't be wowed either. However, considering the reasonable prices for the quality of food served, it's still worth a visit.

Overall excellent experience. After a while since I've been to this restaurant, although I dont recall the specifics of the food aside from being good, I think the highlight for us was the decor in this restaurant. Perfect combination of colours, between royal greens on the walls, unique whites of the dishes, warm glow of lightbulbs, weightiness of the cutlery, and the many large decorative plants created a fond lasting memory.

Mathieu, the bartender, juggles cocktails like a magician with his tricks, creating magic potions that delight our palates. And what about Eloi, the irresistibly charming waiter? Her dexterity in handling the trays is equivalent to a graceful dance, while maintaining a contagious smile. A special mention is also required for the kitchen team, where the culinary art reaches new heights thanks to the talents of Joey, Alex and Cam. The magical trio in the kitchen perfectly completes the unforgettable experience that Le Carré offers.

We went as a group after a work event. The service was really good and all staff were very considerate.However, the food is pass score- the portion is really not generous, the grilled octopus itself was very tasty, but the rest of the plat was way too salty to my taste, as well as the fries came with the burger.As to desserts, I have to say the crème brûlée flambée was excellent and the alcohol pouring was spectacular.The restaurant was almost full that night, the music was not loud but we barely can hear each other because of echoes. We have to scream to each other the whole night.In total, not impressed by the food but service is great. If it’s not a work meal. I wouldn’t pay this much for what I got.Vegetarian options: No vegan options and one vegetarian option as main course is available.
