I called to reserve a table for 12 people for a Sunday brunch and when we arrived on Sunday, the bistro was closed for brunch. Absolutely nobody called me to cancel the reservation the day before as they said they did. So unprofessional. You’ve just lost a bunch of clients.

I used to enjoy stopping by Richmond for coffee or a quick bite, but my last visit was disappointing. I ordered a lunch combo to go — the screen initially showed $14, but the cashier updated it to $23, explaining that the poultry portion was larger.
I wasn’t informed about the price difference when ordering, and the portion didn’t seem noticeably bigger. Transparency is important, and this experience has made me reconsider returning.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Ertan for our wedding, and he was truly an angel throughout the entire process. Throughout the whole process, he made us feel like family. He took the time to really understand our vision and was always proactive with his feedback and suggestions, which made planning feel so much easier and more enjoyable. The venue itself was stunning, so much character and charm that we barely needed to decorate. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food and drinks, which were exceptional. On the day of the wedding, everything flowed seamlessly. The coordination was flawless, and we felt so at ease knowing everything was handled so perfectly. If I could have a time machine, I would relive that day over and over again. To Ertan and the entire Richmond team thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the most beautiful day of our lives.

I celebrated my fifth anniversary with my spouse last night, and it was truly magical. Melissa had taken care of arranging a beautiful bouquet for me because I wanted to surprise her. When we arrived, the ambiance was perfect, and the decor was stunning. The hostess invited us to enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne in the lounge before heading to our table. After relaxing and being impressed by the service, we were led to our table, which was the most romantic setup I’ve ever seen. It was absolutely perfect. We shared a rib steak, which was cooked to perfection (medium), and the cut was beautiful. We had an incredible meal and the most perfect time at The Richmond. Special thanks to our server, Jérémy, and to Melissa and Patrick for hosting. It’s a perfect venue for all types of gatherings—whether it’s with friends, couples, happy hour, or weddings. I highly recommend it!

Hi, I was at your restaurant last night. I spent over $400 for two people. My husband’s steak was amazing I ordered And usually when you eat pasta, you actually taste the marinara sauce. All I tasted was water coming out of the pasta. I also had to get up and go get my own black pepper. I had to get my own Parmesan cheese. I had the Baratta and it was OK and the other meals were just OK. Nothing special and my Caesar Nobody told me that I would have slabs of pork on it instead of crispy bacon so the price that I paid at your restaurant I was very unsatisfied with the service and I was unsatisfied with the quality of food that you serve your clients I did we’ve been to many restaurants in the island of Montreal, Vegas, Florida, California and your pasta that you are considered to be an Italian restaurant was extremely tasteless. I had to tweak it with hot peppers. I had to add my own Parmesan cheese and I had to get my own black pepper..

Food was overpriced, went in for lunch and with noone in the restaurant food took forever (over 20min). A medium rare requested burger was cooked well done and there was no sauce or dip for the fries outside of prepackaged mayo - which I didn't have. Wouldn't recommend coming here for lunch as the value for money and time isn't worth the investment. It’s unfortunate too, I was parched and really looking forward to this place for lunch after a long morning on a hot day, but left quite disappointed. Service was the main redeeming quality - my server was quite attentive and professional. Kitchen staff could improve quality and attention to detail. The dish overall was too dry and there wasnt thought given into how to balance the dish.
I went for a wedding, the service and stafc were outstanding. Manager Alex was tip top, the bartender Timothee was the best. They were making delicious cocktails well executed and were alot of fun. Great selection of booze. The food was ok. My cod was delicious and not overcooked. My salad was a bit tired. Appetizers were on point and my friend steak was cooked to perfection but it was not finished on the grill . Beautiful room, huge washroom area that was gorgeous. Amazing place for weddings and events. Thank you staff for a hell of a night.
