When we arrived last night (Saturday) the restaurant was empty apart from a large group. No one greeted us but we found a clean table among several dirty tables not cleared. Two employees were behind the counter, but they didn't seem to have seen us. They were talking together. After several minutes of waiting, a third employee arrived and went behind the counter as well. I went to see him to ask him (it was the first time I had been to this restaurant) whether to order at the counter or wait at the table to order. He told me at the table, so I went back to my seat. A few minutes later, one of the two employees who were talking behind the counter arrived with two menus. She didn't greet us or welcome us, she just placed the menus in front of us and said one word: "Excuse". Then she came back with two glasses of water and a bottle of water which she put down without saying a word to us. Meanwhile, the large group began to get up to leave. Everyone seemed to pay individually at the counter. A fourth employee arrived and came to us to say she would be with us in a moment, that she needed to get the group paid first. I asked if we couldn't instead order first (there were only two of us) so that our order could start being prepared right away. She mumbled something that we didn't understand, then she left and started charging each person in the large group individually. The other two employees were still behind the counter, the other had disappeared into the kitchen. After several minutes, seeing that she had chosen to have the whole group pay first and that the other employees were not coming to see us, we got up and walked out. No one gave us a single glance. How 4 employees cannot organize themselves sufficiently to serve 2 tables, one of which has just arrived, amazes me. In addition, it seems to me that saying hello, smiling to customers, speaking to them intelligibly and courteously should not be too much to ask. We went to eat elsewhere, where we were served with professionalism and kindness. It's a shame we wasted our time at Belles Soeurs, but it's a mistake I won't make again.

Came here for dinner with some friends. The staff were very friendly, and the food was outstanding. I ordered the Burger l'agneau au trou and it was one of the best burgers i've had in a long time. The spinach cream cheese was delectable. The prices are right, the portions perfect, and the washroom is out of this world! I would 100% recommend visiting this restaurant. I couldn't have enjoyed my meal any better. The vibe is great with twinkle lights, a christmas tree still up in February, and it was very warm and cozy inside.

A very nice restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is fast and the waitresses are all smiling and very nice! I must say that the prices are very good if I compare to several popular restaurants!!!The only aspect that I found flat was the volume of the music which was a little too loud in my opinion. People speak louder and the domino effect is that tlm speaks a little loudly lol but it's still an "essential" gave it a try, I highly recommend it!Vegetarian options: Lots of choice with vegetables. Different taste, caramelized, added sauce etc. Fantastic

Visiting Montreal from Edmonton. Saw this place recommended on Reddit and had to check it out. Friendly waitress. Great food, great price. Burgers were delicious, and the burger buns were perfect. Would recommend!
My favorite in town out of the way brunch spot. Lunches are great too! Quality of food is amazing at a good price. Shhhh, don't spread the word.

I dined in the restaurant, not takeout. The meal I received was something completely different than what I ordered. A different menu item. The wait time to receive the food was so long I told the server I would just eat it. There was also an incredibly long wait to get our check and pay.

The place is simply; AMAZING!The service is great, the staff is nice, the food is delicious and the options are varied!!!The decor is absolutely gorgeous and inspiring yet "homey" ; it's a very "cozy" yet "vibrant" style of decor; which will definitely make you crave the beach & get closer to the sun!I would recommend giving it a try; if you stop by Plateau Mont-Royal for Breakfast, brunch or Lunch !
