I went there twice and the food is EXCELLENT! Skip downtown and come to this hidden gem of the city.
Yesterday I order a Ceviche, the fish was spoiled and it stank. For me it was a big disappointment because it was my first time at this restaurant.
Very good food and drinks. The staff was nice, will go back for sure .
Lima 14 is a beautiful restaurant that serves delicious and authentic Peruvian food. The cozy ambiance and colorful decor make you feel right in Peru. The menu brings traditional flavourful dishes bursting in the mouth and the freshly made portions are generous. Their ceviche is a standout 🤤
The bar showcases a variety of cocktails that blend traditional ingredients with modern mixology techniques, providing a unique and tasty experience 🍹
Enjoy Ladies Night on Tuesdays and 20% Peruvian Tradition Thursdays. Their Nikkei are available on weekends 🥂🍣

Restaurant Lima 14, often regarded for its vibrant Peruvian cuisine, left much to be desired during my recent visit. Unfortunately, the meal was a letdown in several key areas, beginning with the flavor profile. The dishes, which should have burst with the signature boldness of Peruvian spices and freshness, fell flat. The ceviche, typically the star of any Peruvian menu, lacked the bright acidity and robust seasoning that one would expect. Instead of being a refreshing balance of citrus and spice, it tasted bland and underseasoned, with the fish not as fresh as one might hope.
The lomo saltado, a dish known for its comforting blend of beef, vegetables, and soy sauce, also missed the mark. The beef was tough, and the overall dish was greasy without the depth of flavor that normally makes this a standout option. Even the side dishes, such as the rice, were poorly executed, coming out overcooked and dry.
Service compounded the disappointing meal. Despite the restaurant’s cozy ambiance, the inattentiveness of the staff and long wait times made the experience frustrating. It is unfortunate to say that Lima 14, with its promising menu, did not live up to expectations. The food quality and preparation need significant improvement for it to justify its reputation and pricing.
Being also Peruvian this a total let down

This gem is located on St-Laurent near the 40 highway. Although the place was quite empty, it was not because of the quality of the restaurant, or its location. It’s just thanks to the constant efforts of the municipality of Montreal to transform its city in a gigantic construction yard and scare away both tourists and businesses.
Put this aside, and you will discover delicious dishes prepared with care. I went to Peru once where I was amazed by the diversity and quality of local cuisine, only rivaled by the French cuisine in my opinion.
At Lima 14 yesterday, I could find again the real flavors this country has to offer. The staff is great and they are always happy to guide you make your choice and explain their dishes.
I chose the Anticuchos that were cooked to perfection and the delicious Causa de Pulpo while my better half chose the Fetuccini Huancainero con Lomo and a Causa Acevichada, which delicioulsy combine the richness of a causa with the freshness of the Ceviche.
We will definitely come again soon to try other dishes as the menu was recently updated.
Thank you, we had a great time!
