Maïs has some of the best food I've had. Do yourself a favor and get the black bean dip and the wings and one of every taco they have that day. I'm in Ottawa and I constantly demand to eat there when visiting Montreal.
Can I say it's one of the best Mexican places to go to in Mile end...there are a few but this stands on its own! Must have would be the fish tacos and the pastor! It's amazing..simply amazing. I ordered 3 tacos and ended up ordering the fish and the pastor again! The veggie options are also very very good esp the sweet potatoes...one of the best ones in Montreal as per my vegetarian comrades. I arrive at this superb restaurant every couple of days as I enjoy the good air that is characterizes this restaurant. The crew is extremely welcoming and experienced. The service is pretty quick. Needless to say, the food they cook is great. I frequent many times and I was always pleased. The price is reasobable. I recommend this place to to everybody.
