Food is great but when it's great there are not enough bites (portion too small)
And when the food is okay you have enough.
Dessert is not waw.
Overall experience 8.5/10

Best restaurant in Montreal, the chef is a local and focuses heavily on local products yet he showcases international level cooking skills/techniques. Highly recommend if you can get a table.

We got a last minute cancellation for 9pm. Food was great all the way to the dessert. Great value for the money.

After a twenty-minute drive from
downtown, the experience proved to be exceptionally worthwhile. The entire culinary experience was truly exhilarating. I am very pleased that we decided to include the optional Tuna dish and paired each course with a different wine. As the dishes were not selected from a menu, each one presented a delightful surprise, awakening the taste buds with unknown deliciousness. The server was professional but friendly at the same time. They do also pay a full attention to their customers. Multiple small gestures here and there made us feel so welcomed. It was a truly delightful experience. Thank you, Mastard!

I would put 6 stars if I could. Everything here is magical, the staff, the food and the atmosphere. But the one that took my heart was the caramel apricot tart.

Came here a few weeks ago to see and taste what the Michelin-star fuss was all about. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the food was excellent (appreciated the emphasis on local ingredients), service was attentive, and that despite the restaurant's newfound fame, there's still an element of down-to-earthness and authenticity in their presentation and service that makes it feel welcoming and accessible. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Very affordable for a Michelin-star restaurant as well, definitely worth a visit!

Creativity meets good taste, which is truly a rare talent. It’s all in the many impressive details. The last finger Mille feuille took my breath away. Mtl is full of sloppy chefs who cook underwhelming food yet has the nerve to feel like something they’re not. Best dining experience of 2025 so far for me including other Michelin star restaurants. Already made future reservations. Looking forward to taste other seasonal variants.

Overall, we had a very good experience at this restaurant. We'd recommend it to others. I think it has a very good price-value ratio for a Michelin restaurant.
Though, one thing which I didn't like was the served water which tasted a bit like Chlor. I know this is probably the character of the tap water in Montreal, but I'd rather pay for the water than drink this.

Been to other Michelin restaurants and had to pay triple the price. This is very reasonable. Very nice food from Canada and Quebec. There’s a Cornish hen that was so so tender. Fish from Nova Scotia is very good too. Portions are small but they add up and so we walked out with a full stomach. No food is waste and we liked it. Service was good and comfortable. Drinks are so so pretty and delicate.
