I bought 10 pork buns for $8.50.
They were juicy and tasty.
We called 30 minutes in advance to reserve the buns.
They start making the buns only after receiving reservations.

The attitude cannot be worse. I am really busy. You cannot hear me clearly on the phone, then you just come to my shop? The way he said just literally ask you to go away. It is terribly rude! I don’t understand why I get assault by purchasing something from a seller. Does he think his bun is saint? Does he feel privileged? If you can, try to be far away from this place as much as possible.

The buns are great! Dough is soft and fluffy yet not too thick compared to bigger buns. The meat filling is tender and juicy. But just like other people mentioned, you have to call ahead to reserve and you have to be there on time. Otherwise you got no buns. Price is very reasonable, $8 for 10 buns.

Went to the place. Owner rejected any purchases or questions in store and told us to make a phone call. And we did so. He was extremely rude on the phone and said we had to order AT LEAST 10 boxes to be in the queue.
This place has no respect to customers. Avoid it at all cost.

8 dollar for 10 meat steamed bun was really good value in 2023.
The only annoying thing is you need to call the owner and check the availability.
There is also veggie only opinion for steamed bun. It is 9 dollar (1 dollar more comparing to meat buns)

I had such high hope for it before heading to Montreal for a business trip but it ended up being a huge disappointment.
This style of baos are commonly seen in small breakfast shops on the side of the street. I remember getting one at 7 am just before getting to school almost everyday when I grew up. This shop “opens” at 11am so breakfast would be impossible.
I finally got one chance to go around 11:30 one day. And just like some other reviews mentioned, the owner never shower his face, saying he is not open yet and asked me to come back around 12:30. Needless to say, I don’t have the luxury to wait around all day for this.
Overall the way the owner handles this operation is a huge letdown, and no matter how good the baos are it’s just not worth all the trouble.

Called ahead to order 2 boxes, but when we arrived they said they were out because we were 20 minutes late. What was the point of the phone call?
The attitude was also very bad, probably because they thought we ordered too little. They stood behind the curtain with a self-righteous look. The shop was very dirty and messy, and it's hard to imagine the hygiene conditions of the buns made there.
The worst service ever, the owner is very rude he didn’t won’t to even talk to the customers , one think he said is to leave I don’t have time to talk to you bye. The place is very dirty and smells bad I won’t ever come back to this place. If I could I would put -5 ⭐️
Best Chinese streamed buns you can find in Montreal. traditional taste. Went back after >10 years today and still taste the same.
Best classic flavor in east Canada
There are only 2 items on the menu but they are GOOD
